  1. I wonder why recovery hooks come standard on 4WD and not on 2WD, which needs them more than the 4WD's? I wish I had them on my 2WD. Maybe I'll buy a pair and install them. Never know when I may need them.
  2. My truck stays in 4 cylinder mode at 70MPH, unless I'm headed into a stiff wind or going up a hill. I suppose the 3.73 rear end causes the truck to stay in 4 cylinder mode almost all the time. My truck is stock and I plan on keeping it that way.
  3. I've had my 2015 Silverado C1500 Double Cab 5.3L with Max Tow and E85 since 5/5/15. I live in rural central Texas and most of my driving is highway. My truck stays in 4 cylinder mode about 3/4 of the time. I have no problem with that. My fuel mileage on the highway is about 23 MPG with regular top tier gasoline. It's about 19 MPG with E85. I see no reason to lock out 4 cylinder mode. Am I missing something?
