  1. I have a 2006 Silverado crew 4wd with 160k on it. Dealer installed a Trailmaster 6" lift kit when it was brand new. Fast forward to today and some things need to be addressed. It has a bit of a rake since it has a 4" block in the rear. I want it level and was looking at some Deaver springs to replace the current ones, but then I started thinking about shocks that have 160k on them. Maybe its time for new shocks too? What shocks should I get? I had Bilstein 5100's on my 2015 and love them, but it wasn't lifted so I don't know if those are available with a 6" lift? I think the ball joints need replacing too. So is it worth changing the springs and shocks or should I just get a whole new kit?
  2. If anyone's interested in a good deal, I have my set of 5100's for sale right now. 3700mi on them. Took off because GM is repurchasing the truck and I had to put it back to stock. Have my Toyo AT2's (same miles) also up for sale. Was a GREAT combo. At highest position, the shocks + 33" tire put me at 39" fender height. Stock was 36" (with 50k on original tires).
  3. Does anyone know if the same 5100's that fit the 14-up trucks will fit the 04-07 body style too?
  4. I hadn't seen every post, but weren't they just being helpful and answering questions? I didn't see any advertising from them.
  5. Anyone know about the end links? This knock sound is getting annoying
  6. One thing I did notice was a little bit of a clunk when going over driveways/speed bumps. I'm having the shop double check everything is tightened properly. I have faith in them but just want to be sure. It looks like it may be the end links. At a full 2" increase there is a tiny gap at the bushing. Anyone else run into this? Should I get new end links?
  7. Amazon. $350 shipped. Best price I'd seen anywhere. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T369HRY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T367RUS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I just got mine installed yesterday and am liking them. Went with the max height and got a full 2" from it. Rides more stiff, for sure, but I don't mind. The bumps and bounces are way reduced, it feels planted and solid. Not floaty anymore.
  8. Just got my 5100's in today. Thinking about doing the rears tonight before heading home. Anyone know the tq specs for the rear shock bolts?
  9. Anyone done a rear set of these? Like mounted at the corners of the bed, behind the glass?
