  1. No flack from here! I think it looks great and have the same set up and size, except Cooper Zeon LTZ's.
  2. Not sure if you've seen this thread or not but there are a ton of pictures in there.
  3. What everyone else has said, definitely adjust. I added a level to mind, then lined up against a wall and dropped both down. I can still see just as good as if the truck wasn't leveled and do not get any flashes (4 years now). It's definitely hard to see when these newer trucks that are lifted come toward you at night blinding you due to not taking care of it.
  4. You’re correct. Only comes on with my hand pushing the button.
  5. Finished up wiring my new to me heated steering wheel into the harness and then sat back and marveled at the little light for turning on!!! (wheel heat is good too)
  6. Thank you! This was the one I couldn't find any reference to and the ones that were listed in the thread showed as incorrect or obsolete.
  7. I finally got around to putting my new to me steering wheel/clock spring on (thanks Tbarn!) but am having a hard time sourcing the pin that goes into the connector on the back of the X51L fuse panel. I have the Yazaki pin for X201 (by the BCM) connector and the one I thought was correct for the other end came in but it's definitely not the correct one. I'm lucky enough to have the connector for the heated wheel in the harness, it's just not hot. Pgamboa - are you selling a pre-terminated wire that goes from the X51L to the X201? If so I'll shoot ya PM to get that ball rolling so I can finish this wiring as close to factory as possible. Thanks! Edited: looking for the terminal to order that goes into the X2 connector on the back of the X51L
  8. I think some others have had this, I know I have it and try to tune it out. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/172013-squeak-when-throttle-is-applied/
  9. Great write up! I'm slowly getting pieces together so I can do this to mine, hopefully along with adding the power fold. Will definitely follow your wire guide to get the lights all working.
  10. I received my switch the other night and tested it with a voltmeter, and unless I was slipping off the pins, I get a solid power reading when the fold/unfold button is pushed. Going to go ahead and purchase some mirrors, but it may be a month or so before I get to it. I'll update once I get them with my final findings.
  11. Ha! That it is! I think I may have to buy a switch, install it, and then take the door card off and ck the pins with a voltmeter. I can only assume pin 4 & pin 18 would have power when the fold in/out was being used. If that works, I'll then invest more in the mirrors.
  12. I don't have mirrors or a switch yet (made an offer on eBay and wtg to hear still) but I did pull my door card off, drivers side, and it looks like the pins for power in and out are there (comparing to diagram above). I for sure won't be able to have the turn signals though, as they're not wired on this harness. If anyone wants to double check me on these pictures and tell me if you see the same, id appreciate it. Thx! And one of my harness ID
  13. Ah, gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. I'm going to have to try this soon.
  14. I have an LT crew and took my switch apart tonight to see if the wires were there. I found that, unlike the plug above with 18 pins, I only have 12. I did see on another site that it look like pin 2 (fold in) and pin 9 (fold out) are possibly available for this, but wasn't sure if that's what anyone else was seeing. Here are a few pics of my plug:
