  1. If you don't mind me asking was it just the muffler that you added to your truck? If it was what was the part number?
  2. I have the Bilstein 5100's on the highest setting with stock blocks in the back and still have 3/4" of rake.
  3. What brand of rubber did you go with? I can't quite tell by the pictures? I like the look of the 17's and I'm thinking about going with 285's for my next set of tires.
  4. I have to KO2's and really like them. Once you get them on your truck they look more aggressive than you would think, and for highway driving they are really quiet.
  5. It really just depends on how you plan to use your truck. If you plan on hauling or towing anything of considerable weight I would definitely get the rear blocks. I have Bilstein's in the front only and, when I was hauling my buddy's rzr the ass end sunk really bad. The rear blocks will help the appearance of this but I would look into other alternatives if I was to get a rzr.
  6. I used the Bilstein 5100's on my truck and really like them. I know most ppl on here go with RC 2 OR 2.5" or similar route but, it's just personal preference. I've also heard that the Bilstein's are backordered almost everywhere.
  7. I agree with BlackZ71Silverado about getting larger wheels but, it all comes down to what you want. Don't settle bc you won't be happy. My truck had 20" wheels on it when I bought it and I went to 17" wheels bc I use my pickup to go hunting quite a bit and the rubber will be cheaper for the next set. If you're really looking for some 20" wheels I still have mine. They are SSC Premier 2279 20x9.
  8. I have the Bilstein 5100's on my pickup and I haven't noticed much of a difference in the ride quality. The reason that I went with Bilstein over a spacer or extension kit is that I didn't want to be overextending the shocks. If you aren't going to be taking your pickup hunting, offroad, etc. then a spacer or extension kit will work just fine bc they are a little cheaper. Here is a good explanation. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCQQFjABahUKEwi6v7Ol_8HHAhXJKYgKHck8BYE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bilsteinus.com%2Ffileadmin%2Fuser_upload%2Fuser_upload_us%2Fpdfs%2FBil_LevShks_WebArticle.pdf&ei=2TLbVfruNMnToATJ-ZSICA&usg=AFQjCNGueTFPLWO0l0qAEsoguP8_ZXYzQQ&sig2=cPnfQV1SGWKigUr4Acl0IQ
  9. Looks good! I like how the bull bar looks on it too. No need to apologize for a muddy pickup...it's a pickup haha.
  10. I'm sorry that sucks! Suspension Connection is who I bought mine from. I guess I must have ordered them at just the right time. I haven't seen anyone else bring up the new Bilstein 6112's. They are basically a beefed up version of the 5100's, from what I've read anyways. I'm not sure if they are out or not yet though.
  11. No you'll be just fine at 20 miles. Its when you drive with your alignment out of wack for an extended period of time that you will see improper wear on your tires.
  12. I went with the Bilstein's for the fact that I do take my truck hunting so I'll be offroad and didn't want to have my front suspension over-extending. I have read on here from multiple ppl that their RC level rides really well too. I think it's just a personal preference and it depends a lot on your tires as well.
  13. A lot of it depends on the tread and pressure you run in your tires. I have the BFG KO2's which are 10 ply. They ride really well and don't hum like some tires with aggressive tread tend to do but they have that aggressive look.
  14. I went with the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks and the ride is about the same. It might be slightly stiffer but, that has more to do with running higher pressure in my tires than the shocks not performing.
