  1. I just called my local dealer. (You see, he's much too busy to notify me, the customer, when my new bulbs come in so I have to call him) Anyway, my new bulbs are in and I am scheduled to get the work done on Wednesday. I feel like an 8 year old kid that just found out he's getting a brand new BB gun for Christmas.
  2. Actually, I paid $163 for new black window trim pieces at the dealer. Took me about 1.5 hours total to remove the 4 chrome pieces and install the new black ones (once you do the first one and see how it goes, the next 3 go much faster). Sold the chrome pieces on this forum for $80. My net cost $83 and I have OEM pieces on my truck. Plastidip might be a little cheaper, but will probably take longer than just replacing them. I think OEM pieces look better IMO.
  3. Wow that is very high. I had my 5100s installed 3 days ago, and paid a grand total of $406 to a local shop for installation of all 4 and the alignment (and I thought that was kinda high). Your guy is over $700 for the same work. Ouch.
  4. Just had the 5100s installed yesterday. Went with one click down from max height setting on the front. Ride is MUCH improved over the crappy stock Ranchos. I feel like it hits the potholes, railroad tracks, etc with less bouncing in the seat compared to the stock Ranchos. Just feels tighter and more controlled on the road, with still being smoother than the Ranchos. Very happy with the outcome. Got a great deal at streetsideauto for $308 shipped. Paid $400 for installation of all 4 plus the alignment - a bit higher than some on the forum but it's a local guy that I've had work on my cars for years and I trust his work. I'm now sitting at 38" front wheel well to ground, and 39.5" rear. Looks way better IMO.
  5. So my local dealer ordered the bulbs 8 days ago. Told me to call him today to make sure bulbs were in so work could be done tomorrow, Wed 3/18. Bulbs not in yet. Backordered everywhere (which I already knew). He told me to call him "once a week" to check if bulbs had arrived. That doesn't sound good.....
  6. Absolutely should fit stock height. By my calcs the height is more like 31.5". For stock 20" wheels and 275/55/20 stock tires, stock height is 31.9"
  7. Just called local GMC dealer for headlight TSB. Similar to others, i had to give him the document number for him to find it. He hadn't heard of it yet, and even when he searched by TSB number he couldn't find it! Said I was the first person to call about it. Bulbs on order, hopefully it will help these pitiful headlights. Thanks to the guys on the forum who found this helpful info.
  8. Just ordered Bilstein 5100s front and rear from streetsideauto.com for a grand total of $308.44 (similar to others in this thread). Found a coupon code W102515 for $25 off, expires 3/8/15. My price was $308.44 AFTER THE $25 discount. Called streetsideauto just now and my order ships out tomorrow.
