My own 8 speed problems & resolution
SoonerDPT replied to brendan4862's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
2015 6.2 8speed here. I've got 48,500 miles on my truck and last week the "shudder" just started. It has always had some of the occasional weird clunks when going from park to drive or reverse. Also the occasionally clunky upshifts or downshifts at low speeds. This shudder is new though. I notice it most about 1500-2000 rpms and frequently shudders with upshifts now. Talked to shop foreman this am to get it in and he said "sounds like the torque converter". This thread certainly isn't very encouraging... -
leveling kit do or don't?

As far as I'm concerned, the top pic is what an AT should look like from the factory. -
What have you done to your K2 today?
SoonerDPT replied to block8head's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Got my front windows tinted and put in some Weather Tech mats. Next up is a Roll-N-Lock A-series and Airaid MIT. -

Not mine, but I absolutely love the look of this truck! Trying to decide if this wheel would look good on my Iridium... -

Those KO2's look great. I was thinking about waiting a couple more months until the 285/55/20's come out. -

Those look really good! I was thinking about the same ones with the chrome strip, but after seeing yours, I don't think I would want the chrome. -
In case anyone was interested in the KO2 in a 305/55/20, I just got an email from BFG saying they won't be available till September 1st...

Man, that looks good! Like those wheels. You can post as many pics of that truck as you want. I won't complain. -
Leveling Kit for 2015 Sierra Denali Magnetic Ride

Ok, I think I have a pretty good idea what you're talking about. I think a guy posted the other day that he did the same thing using washers. By chance, did you take a picture of it? -

I would love to see even more pics of your truck if you have them. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a new Iridium Denali as well. Questions: What size KO2's are those? 2. How do you like the AMP steps? and 3. What did you do on the Diablo tune? -

When taking out the kit, could you tell what the shop had originally done to correct for the mag ride? -

Yeah, I'm with you. I love the style/design of both. Just thinking the RB10 or all black on the Dee Zee NXT might be a little rugged/Raptor'ish with all the chrome on the Denali. Wow, just looked again and didn't realize you had to buy the mounting brackets separately. http://www.deezee.com/products/32983/Nerf_Bars_and_Running_Boards/Running_Boards_and_Steps/NXt_Running_Boards.html -

Has anyone on here put on the Dee Zee NXT. About to pull the trigger on a Denali and think these would look good matching the chrome on the truck. I really don't like the metal bleacher seats they call running boards that come stock on the truck. -

What's your thoughts on using the brackets to just adjust the location of the sensor, as someone else on here did? I have trouble finding any flaw in that, although I'm far from being a mechanic.
