  1. My recent issues have seemingly been solved by another tire rotation and balance. All four wheels out of balance from the last balance about 7k miles ago. Wondering if these 20" Goodyears just go whacko after 5k miles? Anyway, much smoother ride at 78 mph to and from work today. Feeling much better about my deal...good luck.
  2. Mine was way better when they replaced the bent rim several months ago, now I'm wondering if more than one rim was bent. Mine does well up to about 70 mph, then at 78, which I drive nearly 85% of my commute, it shakes off an on, but not always. If I get on the onramp and put the foot down and it's smooth, I actually notice it more than the usual shake. I can notice it in the driver's seat, then I look over and see the passenger seat moving back and forth. Put my hand on the passenger seat headrest and feel the vibration. Next oil change is in about a month, will have to have them go back to the drawing board. It's 75% better than it was before, but still not smooth as silk, in which a $55k truck should be. Grrrrr.
  3. My dog is Gus, he's a bit of a goofball, but loves the automatic sliding rear window.
  4. Mine was indeed a bent rim. Had to have happened before I bought it. I don't remember hitting anything that would have impacted it that much. Smooth riding now!
  5. Although it's not going to be fixed until later in the week, turns out I have a bent rim. It must have happened between transferring to the three dealers before it came to me for purchase. They are ordering a rim, hope to have it come in tomorrow, then hoping it's smooth as silk from there. If that's the case, way better scenario than I anticipated.
  6. Funny, I just put the iPad on the rubber holder on the center console and played the video through the bluetooth into the radio. Worked well and a bigger screen.
  7. Sounds like this now very long posting of pages needs to be split into what I see to be two key areas: 1) V6 to V4 mode issues. 2) Vibration of all other engine sizes. I fall into the later. Talked with the Service Manager and mine is going in Wednesday. My vibration is more above 40 mph and hits it's high point about 75 or so. I can feel it in the steering wheel and you can see the water in a 20oz bottle of water just dance around on a smooth road with no bumps. Not as bad as some You Tube videos I've seen, but it just looks like someone is throwing a stone in the water all the time, it never stops moving. The passenger seat vibrates also and you can see it. On most days it's mildly annoying, on some days it's very annoying. He was well informed of the issue and that these trucks are very sensitive to being out of balance and stated that he would: a) Check for tires out of balance. b) Road Force balance them, if not found above. c) Use the Pico Oscilloscope when he test drives it. d) Check for out of balance drive line, etc. if not found above, etc. I have confidence they can figure it out...I'll report back on Thursday...wish me luck!
  8. Mine is vibrating visibly on the steering wheel. If I place two fingers on the wheel, enough to maintain my lane, it isn't bouncing out of my hand, but very noticeable. I notice it in my seat also. I had the dealer reset my psi in my 20" Goodyears to 32 (actually about 35 psi on the hot days) from 38 that was "winter" pressures, about 60 degrees cooler outside. No change in vibration. I don't feel it in my gas pedal. Mine is about 35mph and up...all the way to 80, which is as fast as I've had it.
  9. Count me in. Noticed the vibration when my head liner was vibrating after the first few weeks I had it. They fixed that, but not the root cause of the issue. Got my first oil change and tires rotated recently and I guess I had somewhat forgotten about the issue, now it's back again with a vengeance. Noticed it after driving my wife's 2007 CRV (smoothly) to work in the same road I drive every day. When it came back from the shop and the first day I drove it again, it started driving me crazy, again. Shakes my wrist watch, rear seats, anything in the front cubby, etc. Ugggg!
  10. The dealer "fixed" my vibrating headliner last week. Today it started vibrating again. Ugg!
  11. Noticed a vibration today, which caused my headliner to rattle...great.
  12. Fixed last week, it's all good. Also the dealer is making my first truck payment. Will probably call Onstar for a free month extension.
  13. New sharkfin replaced on Friday, everything working again...still looking for some repayment from the dealer, given that I've had to bring this thing back twice (will be three times with the lights issue) in the first few weeks. Anyone else getting some type of repayment considerations from the dealer? I've asked for $250, or 1/2 a month's payment, so far, my ask has not been replied to.
  14. Drove last night in the rain and this thing is pathetic regarding forward sight. I almost drove off the on ramp to the highway around a large corner. New replacement lights still on backorder from the dealer.
