  1. What you're experiencing is due to the way the trans control module is programmed. The trans is solid and until gm engineering figures out better programming they will continue to shift that way. Mine does the same thing.
  2. Well, after much research I went with the roll-n-lock A series cover. I installed it yesterday. Easy to install and I'm very happy with it so far. I installed it without the tailgate extrusion because I like to open the tailgate at times with the cover in the closed position. I can always add it later if I decide to. It wasn't a cheap cover but my plan is to keep it for many years so hopefully it will hold up.
  3. Finally got around to doing some much needed spring cleaning!
  4. Very nice and clean install. Good job!
  5. I'm sure it's a tune issue. Eventually there will be a TSB for a software update. I'll keep an eye out for it and post here when it happens. I feel the same shudder at times as well.
  6. I'll chime in here. Picked her up this past Tuesday. 2016 SLT premium All Terrain
  7. yep. the tailgate locks with the door locks now! Its great!
  8. They are not the motorized steps. I didn't want that headache down the road. The new headlights are leaps and bounds above the 14-15 model year lights. I live in a very rural area and it's a very dark drive home for me. Last night with the new truck was great. The light output is probably twice as much as my 15 and the high beams make it light daylight. I would highly recommend them!
  9. Well, I took the plunge at work today. I upgraded my 2015 SLE to a 2016 SLT All Terrain. Super happy with the decision. The 16 has the all terrain package plus the hid headlights and trailer package with auto locking tailgate. Here's a few pics...
  10. I have a power slider with defrost. Didn't realize how much I would love having that window for indirect ventilation when driving. Well worth it to me.
  11. The CUE/Intellilink systems are based off the same core programming that Apple uses. Don't hold me to this but i think it's Linux based. Working for a dealer I can tell you there are far more issues with Android phones and functionality than there are Apple products. However, I do know that in order to get "full" functionality with an Apple product they tell you it should be connected to the vehicle via usb. I've played around with my system quite a bit and found that to be true. I still run into issues at times and just like a computer a simple reboot or restart of the system and try again usually gets things working again. It's not perfect but it's way better than some other car manufacturers systems.
  12. Decided to add a few Chrome pieces. Basically the SLT Chrome. Door handles, door molding & mirror caps. Also installed the Extang solid fold tonnau cover and weathertech floor mats. I'm lovin' this truck! Here's a couple pics right after a bath yesterday...
