  1. So far after updating to iOS 13.2 it seems to have resolved my connection issues completely. It has never failed since the update.
  2. Completed some more testing. Reset iPhones network settings, confirmed all Bluetooth and CarPlay devices deleted from the truck. Reset Siri and reconfigured. Reset the phone and attempted new CarPlay connection. worked a few times. Connected instantly the first couple tries. 3rd attempt charging came up but no CarPlay. 4th time music started playing through the phone and not through the stereo. something interesting popped up the next time, see attached. Ethernet option popped up in connections on the iPhone. it almost seems like the iPhone is Confused or not recognizing the device It’s connecting to is a CarPlay device.
  3. Having this very same issue. Followed your steps; removed and re-added devices in bluetooth and carplay, I have received the update but still having the same issue. Every time I connect there is no issue with charging 100% of the time. My previous phone iPhoneX (pre ios13) worked perfect without issues, new iPhone 11 pro (ios13+) cannot get it to connect consistently. So frustrating, I do believe this is an iOS problem though.
  4. Thanks for the info! I heard of people having issues as well, I liked them, they were easy to keep clean and I also preferred the look. I was hoping I could purchase the backs and figure out how to slap them on but you're probably right, probably more to it than that.
  5. I just traded my 2014 Crew SLE for a 2018 Crew SLE Z71, pretty much like for like except a few features all 2014 owners complained about that GM included in the 2015 and higher. I noticed one difference that might not mean much to most but I liked in the 2014 that the 2018 doesn't have. The bucket seats in my 2014 had a hard plastic backing which was super easy to keep clean; the 2018 does not have this, it is fabric all the way down. I am wondering if anyone has noticed this and maybe purchased the 2014 seat backing and installed it in the 2018. I am not entirely sure what year they stopped this, I have been searching part diagrams and they all look the same through the years... Thanks!
  6. Check the oil filter and see if it is the correct one.
  7. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/154240-playing-videos-on-mylink-intellilnk/?p=1431310 I followed the steps in post#60 in the above link, worked great. I experienced a bit of freezing/lag but that is due to the frame rates being too high from gopro videos I had. Otherwise every other video works perfect. Hope this helps.
