My buddy had issues with non GM wires. Finally replaced them with GM wires and all was well. Pricey though. This was 15 years ago. Jim CYWG.

My last 14 GMC 4.3 I pulled the transmission line at the rad and did the same as you. One thing on that truck was the trans fluid went from the bottom of the rad to the top then out. Found that strange but maybe so the fluid doesn't get cold. Anyways on my 2017 4.3 I am not sure which way the fluid pumps. I guess I will find out. Thanks Jim

So KARNUT, you basically suctioned out as much of the transmission fluid you could through the dipstick pipe and filled the transmission back up. Did this again after driving around to mix it all up feel you got most of it out. I guess you could do this three times if you wanted. Just wondering as I might try this myself. Jim

I had this happen in an older Pontiac Sunfire, When I opened up the wires between the body and the door they were all in a state of disrepair. Some were broken some were just cracked and getting ready to break. Good luck Jim

At -16F or -27C, forgot to plug the truck in this morning. 2017 4.3. 42k miles. Turns over very slow but started. Jim Manitoba Canada

Would have been nice if auto makers would have upgraded to a 24 volt system in the past. Now with electric vehicles coming, this won't be an issue. Jim

I know this is going to cause a commotion but I use a little anti seize compound on the mated surfaces of the aluminum wheel and the lug nut. I don`t put any on the threads. Jim

On my 2017 Silverado it was a wiring harness issue. Warranty fixed it. Can't tell y'all what harness they replaced. Probably from the bulb back. Jim

My 2014 had a somewhat same problem. The guy I sold it to said it was a broken wire where they went into the distributor. He found it by shacking them with the vehicle running. Jim
