Anyone have the 6in bds lift kit with fox coil overs? How's that ride? I have the standard 6in kit bds offers with fox shocks in the rear and I feel as if the ride is better than stock. I just want to know if it's worth the money upgrading to the fox coil overs?

Sorry everyone I've been away for awhile. My dealership said they are going to re coat the frame free of cost. They said they have to order the kit that comes from gm. They said they will call me back in two weeks and it has been two weeks. How does it usually take for gm to ship parts and stuff to the dealer

My truck is a 2014 Sierra 1500 and currently has 20k miles on it. I didn't know there was a tsb for frame rust until now. The coating on the frame is peeling and coming off in pieces and there is a lot of rust showing . Is it too late to get it fixed and recoated by the dealer? Also I have a 6 in lift kit on it, will that add to the price of getting it fixed? As always all replies are greatly appreciated. Thank you

Dealer recalibrate speedometer for bigger tires?
Hunter79 replied to Hunter79's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Thank you for all the replies! Now my main concern is how off is the odometer going to be. Would the bigger tires be adding mileage to the computer or hiding some mileage? Is there a formula I can go by to know how many miles are truly are being added to the truck?- 22 replies

A nearby dealer sells some lifted 2014/2015 sierras I didn't lift the truck through them but I would assume they wouldn't sell a truck with the spedometer and odometer being off due to the lift- 22 replies

I recently just added a 6 in lift kit and 35 in tires. I was wondering if the dealer could recalibrate the spedometer so I don't have to use an after market tuner and ruin the warranty I payed extra for on the computers. I know how to calculate what speed i'm going just not how off the odometer is going to be. Those are the two questions I am concerned with and as always all replies are greatly appreciated.

Has any body had any issues with their g80 locker locking up after lifting their truck? I was thinking that it might encounter problems locking with a bigger and heavier tire. But again I am a novice in lifting trucks ( bds 6 in kit with fox shocks in the rear and 35 in toyo at 2 gets installed this Thursday) I simply do not know

I just ordered the bds standard 6 in lift with the fox shocks. I wanted to get the optional rear leaf springs instead of the block in the rear but the shop who doing the lift said I do not really need them. I really would like to maintain the nice factory ride. I do not tow much with the truck neither do I put a lot of stuff in the back. I'm new to lifting trucks and I want to know if I really have to worry about axle wrap. My truck has the 5.3 v8 and I would assume since it's a half ton and not a diesel axle wrap shouldn't be a big problem but I simply don't know. All replies are greatly appreciated

the off set is 20 and I also have another question about bolt patterns I know it is 6x5.5 is that the same as 6 on 135 4 wheel parts list them as being interchangible (I guess) and its just making me really confused I just wanted to make sure before I order them (sorry first time lifting a truck)
