Goodyear Duratracs worth it?
StayInYourLayne replied to MegaCode360's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
My truck came with Duratracs and I've been pretty happy with them. Had KO2s on my 2014 and they were great tires but much heavier than the Duratracs and resulted on worse gas mileage. I'm more than happy with everything about the Duratracs. -

Looking At Buying my last rig
StayInYourLayne replied to lryfer's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
Not sure what part of the country you are in but I would be willing to bet you could get a brand new one cheaper than those or very close. The deals right now are pretty crazy. GMC dealer by me has Denalis and SLTs on $14-16k off. Just my $0.02 -
Do I Really Need UCAs w/ 2.25 Level?
StayInYourLayne replied to Kiznolby's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
I spoke to Readylift on the phone about this. Their explanation is that not only does the shape of the stock UCA cause rubbing in most cases, but the ball joint does not have a strong enough (or non-existent, I can't remember) clip to hold the ball joint in place and changing the angle with a leveling kit can add enough stress to rip it out of the arm. I can't say how much of a threat it is or how often that happens but if you want peace of mind I think it's worth doing. Can get the whole level kit with UCAs for $329 from Tire Rack. -
OEM Off-Road Light Switch Install
StayInYourLayne replied to TinkeringFox's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
So just to sum it all up and make sure I read the 13 pages of posts correctly, 14-15.5 trucks may have an issue with the BCM programming, 2016-2018 trucks should have no issue with the BCM and part number 23317218 is a blue switch being sold cheaply because it has a slightly different image for the ORL light button? If thats the case, for $25 it sounds like a slam dunk way to wire my light bar up- 453 replies

FS: Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs
StayInYourLayne replied to StayInYourLayne's topic in For Sale/Wanted
Man I didn't see they had them so low. I could go to $700 to offset that but after shipping it might not be worth your while. I'll call and get an estimate tomorrow. -
2014s, 2015s and early 2016s had different control arms than the late 2016s-2018s. I had a '14 leveled with spacers and no issues but the new control arms are said to have issues with levels

Just bought my 2018 Silverado and am looking to replace tires. Current Goodyears (265/65r18) are the stock that come on the midnight edition. The tires have 300 miles on them. Asking $850. Willing to negotiate. Willing to ship at your expense. Can send pictures via text or email.

No worries at all, appreciate the offer. Not a bad system or anything, I'm just used to driving a Camaro so I want to make sure the volume is there with the sound if that makes sense -

Ahh okay. That one is the touring model. Appreciate the offer but I was hoping to get the S-Type sound. Feel like touring makes a good sound but not quite the volume I'm looking for -

Is it the one from GM? Or did it come from Borla? -

Like the title says, looking for a 6.2L V8 Borla S-Type dual exhaust with the rear exit (might consider passenger dual exit) and Bakflip bed cover preferably an MX4. My truck is a Crew Cab short bed (5'8"). PM me or post here if you have either for sale or something similar.
