The console itself is just over 32lbs. My zip is 91730. I added pictures of the damaged area and of the console. I removed it from the truck with about 10,000 miles and sadly that little cover broke while it was being stored.

Yes it will fit in a 1500, correct me if I am wrong but they are all the same. As for how much I would say $400 would be fair but make an offer. I checked shipping to you and it is not cheap with the size/weight, that is the only downside..

I have a console I am looking to sale, figured I would put it here before eBay. All parts including harness. It's heavy so shipping will probably be a lot so I am willing meet someone if close enough. The back dust cover for the 12v plug has been broke off but other than that it's like new. Came off a 2015 2500HD LTZ. As far as price make me a offer.

Curiosity got the best of me and I yanked out the console. Was a lot easier than I thought. Anyways here is what is left, will have the large hole in the carpet at the top to contend with. Question 1 -- In on pic i circled a wire, it was hooked into the bose speaker out the back but runs into a big wire loom behind the air bag module. I am assuming it has to be for the speakers since it was coming out the back of one? It goes into a large loom of wires and goes to under the driver seat. Just want to make sure nothing is going to blow up haha! Question 2 -- As far as the air bag control when everyone takes out their jump seat is that under it? Excuse the mess inside, I just got back from a camping trip and it's a mess... Good time to vacuum though!

The area where the speaker in the console is sitting has no carpet. The length of the console. I will have all the parts on Thursday so I will get working on it and take pictures. One question I need the cover in this picture it goes next to the gas pedal for the dash brace. I have been trying to locate a part # or even what it is called. Any help on that would be great! I talked to a upholstery shop today and they said for me to bring it in once I get the seat in and they will see what they can do but I did order the weathertech mats today I think either way it is the way to go on keeping dirt out. We camp a lot and dirt is a major issue so thanks for suggesting those. Thanks

I'm more than willing to sell it but i just need to find the carpet first. Does anyone happen to know of a place to get it I would prefer oem. If someone knows a part # that would be great.

I am doing opposite of this and removing the console and adding a jump seat. I started looking into it and it appears to be no carpet under the console. It is cut just past where the console will cover. Anyone that has added a jump seat run into this? It appears I will have to add a carpet kit to get this done right now.

Im in Socal. I am still on the fence about doing it. I read the Bose amp is located in the console so I just need to figure out what to do about that when swapping for the seat. Thanks

I just read this entire post, question when adding a jump seat and taking out the console will the jump seat bolt up to the existing location? I need a 6th seat in my truck at times. Thanks
