  1. wheels look sexy on the truck....polished came out beautifully!
  2. See, it was pre-ordained that the blue ones were the right ones to put on! good choice, and now the handles need to match!
  3. I love the blue mirror caps and blue handles best. Especially with the chrome LS, blue and the chrome go together nicely. Blue, black, chrome = too much going on. you know what you're going to want to do also: paint that shark fin antenna blue!!!! it never stops!!!! I'm with you, I went back and painted the OEM handle and put that back in on my tailgate, much better quality and much more solid...
  4. how did you manage to do that? I had to jack up the friggin bed so the back bumper would lift off and out....I would prefer not to have to do that again!
  5. I can understand - can't wait to see pix with the black trimmings on the truck - I think it will be a nice contrast
  6. I bought the same one off of ebay in order to color match it; I painted it, installed it, and also have the pop-n-lock feature to automatically lock the tailgate (since mine is a 2015). I'm wondering if maybe it was too much stress, because after a couple of days the plastic post that the center white spindle lays on snapped off! Next thing you know, my handle doesn't work to open the tailgate, I'm breaking into my tonneau cover and then opening up the tailgate access panel to reinstall my old handle.....grrrr.... hopefully that issue is not one that you will experience....again, I'm not sure if its the same ebay seller either....
  7. the back doors can be a pain in the a$$ - check out posts #158-161 in this thread, they have some helpful hints ....
  8. that sounds pretty good - it's so cheap you should order several colors at once - post pix as I'd love to see what worked with the cocoa/dune interior....
  9. I had the same experience with Justin here in DFW, and couldn't agree with you more. Felt like I got a new truck and it really had a 6.2 in it after all. best mod ever
  10. I think the black would look good if kept clean - I like the the wheels you have and the bolt hardware on the wheels stand out nicely with everything else black - good choice imho
  11. white letters out seem to making a comeback lately out there - but, I'd go with black out - white will get dirty, fade, scratch off, etc etc eventually
  12. Truck looks beautiful - love the color matched tow mirrors - this is like the setup I'd like to do - how noisy are the M/Ts? Trying to decide between those which have a great look and the little more conservative R/T
  13. yeah, that's what I figured! oh well, I'm getting good practice at taking off the door panels at least! thx! Bob
