  1. I've had KO2's in the stock size for probably close to 50k miles. Pretty sure I replaced the SRA's at 20k something and I'm almost to 70k. They did get louder as they wore down. But I noticed only on certain roads and it was nothing the radio couldn't tune out. They certainly spin way easier on a wet road from a stop, but while actually driving in rain, I didn't notice any more slippage than usual. I probably got about 2500 to 5000 miles left of treadlife. I'm probably going to go up a size for a little more aggressive stance along combined with a level. Maybe 285/60 or 285/65. The added weight didn't really impact my MPG, I can still average anywhere from mid 17 to mid 18's depending on traffic.
  2. Mine does this almost all the time. Usually after a couple adjustments I can get it to pump fine. My wife's new Hyundai does it as well.
  3. This is my first truck and the first 4wd vehicle I've had. Previously had AWD Subaru's. I'm impressed with the way the 4wd Auto setting works. Went up to the mountains this weekend for snowboarding with various road conditions and drove the majority in Auto once I got to the bad road conditions. A few times I could feel the truck not finding traction easily so I switched to 4 high and it was fine. I even played in the parking lot of the resort to test the limits of the stock SR-A's and the Auto. I was extremely pleased with the way the truck handled the adverse conditions. But as soon as I got to a lower altitude, I switched off the Auto and back to 2wd.
  4. Installed an Undercover Flex a couple weeks back. Really easy install doing it by myself. It was cold out, didn't want to make the wife help if I could do it myself. I didn't install the drain tubes cause I don't like the idea of drilling in my bed to widen one of the drain holes. I think I'll do the clear vinyl tubing and 90 degree PVC elbow and go out of the tie down hole. Had some pretty heavy rain these past couple days. This cover is about 97% water proof and really secure. I should be testing it out in the snow this weekend when I head up to the mountains. Overall I'm impressed with the cover and satisfied with my purchase.
  5. At 5600 miles, I recently developed the click feeling under my butt. I don't feel like the seat is moving, but there is definitely something going on with it around turns. Reading through this and seeing someone mention something about the seat height being all the way up, I lowered the front part of my seat for the drive home. Note I only have the front part of the seat up to provide under leg support, I only lowered it a tiny bit and the click was gone for my entire drive home. If it returns I'll do the same hose clamp trick everyone is using. Also I notice my seat creaks when I push on it, but it sounds more like paper is underneath the leather. It sounds like paper is crunching, but it's only when I push down on the seat.
  6. My 2015 vibrates a little at idle after being warmed up. But It's also idling below 500rpm with foot on the brake and A/C going. I've moved the shifter up to neutral, revs pick up, all vibrations went away. It's just the motor resonating on the frame from what I can tell. It bothered me when I first bought it, it's got 5300 miles now and I rarely pay attention to it anymore.
  7. Washed it this weekend. Since we have a drought here in California, I drove the truck up the curb and onto the front lawn so the used water will go onto the grass instead of down the drain.
  8. Was averaging 20 mpg on the highway cruising along at 80-95mph last night. And my calculations have it about .3 off. I haven't taken it on a really long flat trip yet. But setting cruise control, I notice improves mpg's dramatically over my right foot. My mom's Impreza is off by 3mpg. It's reading 28-29 and getting 25-26.
  9. Of the albums that have album artwork in them, yes the album art work shows. I was tempted to try my wife's nano and see if that would work. I generally get about 5-6 songs in, then my ipod will reboot itself.
  10. My truck does not like my ipod classic. 18000+ songs. But I also heard from my salesman that the intellilink doesn't like hard drive based storage devices which the ipod classic is when you manually manage the music. If you have a newer one, supposedly they changed the format style to a flash based system or something like that. When I would get it to work, it would also go to the next song but show the name and album of the song that previously played. Skipping to the next song sometimes fixed it. I bought a 64 gig SD card to fix my ipod issue and it works great.
  11. I think you adjust at the bottom of the coilover. Near where its bolted to the wheel. From the pictures I see online of fox coilovers, it's the black collars at the bottom of the spring. Oh wait, that's for ones without the external reservoirs. Yea, there doesn't seem to be a lot of options with the hose coming right out of the middle like that.
  12. I've felt like there were no issues with my truck. Felt that I was one of the lucky ones. Took it in to get a detail done and they gave me a loaner Sierra. This thing accelerates and shifts great. It has 4001 miles and mine has 1000. I noticed when stomping on the gas to leave a light that my truck would feel like it's pulling power and would shudder a little but nothing severe. This truck is more like a rocket ship in comparision. I did notice that the loaners tires are sitting at 32 psi and my tires are at 42. When I go in to pick up my truck I'm gonna ask them about what if any, is there a difference in what version of software is on this loaner compared to mine.
