  1. Thanks for the info, I'm going to try and order a set before the end of the year.
  2. Yeah same here but it never hurts to ask. Trying to make my dollars stretch as far as I can, especially this time of year.
  3. Is MRT offering any promo codes for forum members? I really want a set of these for my truck over the spacers offered by other companies. I had a set of these on a Tacoma I had and loved them.
  4. Thanks for the info! Nice truck by the way too! Sounds like we have very similar driving styles from your description and your MPG's. I usually average 14-17 combined and 18-21 on the interstate depending on how fast I drive. If I keep it reasonable at 75 on the interstate I get around 20-21, but I'm usually around 80 or a little over and it drops significantly after that to around 18, I like to get where I'm going. I've read several posts about the Diablew tunes and folks seem to be much happier after getting the custom tune. Still on the fence about exhaust though but thanks for the recommendation, tires and lift are higher on my priority list for now.
  5. Your setup as far as leveling kit, tires and intake are what I'm looking at doing to mine and I'm just wondering what kind of fuel mileage you are seeing? I have the Diablosport Intune2 and have been very happy with it after having the Superchips Flashpaq and I have seen some improvement in MPG but mostly much better driveability but I just don't want to totally kill the mileage with the bigger tires. I just ordered the intake tube over the weekend and it should be here this week! I'm on the fence about the exhaust just yet but it will definitely be Magnaflow if I do. I am looking at the single in dual out version though but still gutting or removing the 3rd cat along with the new muffler.
  6. Same thing happened to me 3 times and they never could figure out what was going on. I did make it to the dealership the second time it happened and they had no explanation as to why, they said they did a "global reset" on the radio and everything started working again. Long story short I ended up getting out of the truck since I had so many other issues with it as well. The dealership made it right and paid off the balance on the 2LT I had and got me in a much nicer 2LZ for not much more than what I originally paid for the 2LT. These trucks just aren't what they used to be I guess. If this one ends up giving me problems too I'm going to a different brand, probably back to Toyota or possibly Ford, don't know. I had a little over 10K on the 2LT and have around 5K on the 2LZ and it seems to be doing fine. I did end up getting a Diablosport I2 and haven't regretted it at all, the transmission tune from the factory is terrible on these trucks. Now its actually a pleasure to drive.
  7. I bought one after buying a 2015 Silverado and I'm not super impressed with it not like I was for the one I had for my 09 Pontiac G8 GT. I'm having issues with the trans settings and have been working with Superchips to see what the deal is. Kinda wish I would have went with the Diablo now. I'm getting a lot of hard shifts even when set to stock settings for the trans. Hopefully they can figure out what the deal is. Even when the truck was not tuned or set to totally stock I still experienced the hard shifting, chatter and gear hunting. The dealer tells me that it's "characteristic of that transmission" for what I have been experiencing.
