Long Term AFM disabler experience
Bonjosco3ss replied to Mandalorian's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
I’m in Staten Island but he state inspection is just a plug in. Not a safety. With the range plugged in it never let my computer run its monitor tests. So I had to drive it 2 weeks with out it plugged in. That’s all. -
Long Term AFM disabler experience
Bonjosco3ss replied to Mandalorian's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Mine is range and works fine but I have to take it out for about 2 weeks before inspection is due otherwise it won’t pass. It wouldn’t let my computer run complete tests. -
Ok. Sounds even better. I was just passing along info from my parts guy.

I still havnt had a chance to call. I have to talk to a service manager about the reprogramming. My parts guy told me the pedals needed to be programmed. So I’m thinking that it’s just a non programmed pedal people are feeling. And how it feels better. I could be wrong

I spoke to my parts guy at my local gm dealer. He said the pedals have to be programmed. So what you guys with the new pedals are feeling may just be the symptom of an I programmed pedal. Possibly the trans shifting a little firmer from the pedal not correlating correctly. He also mentioned that there may be an updated reprogram for the pedal. Im calling today to find out.

Any updates on the throttle response between the 2 pedals. I have a 15 with the old part number and I’m curious why the first half of my pedal does nothing. My wife’s 4cyl accord had better pickup.

2014+ Power Tailgate Lock installed
Bonjosco3ss replied to MotoMedic's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
I just installed this power locking tailgate. Is it supposed to work with the drivers door or the passenger doors. I tried 2 different wires and they both only work with one click of the key fob. I wanted to have it open with the second click on the key fob. -
IO5 vs. IO6 (Nav from carplay?)

Are you guys sending your headunits in to get the CarPlay programmed or is this something I can do myself. -
2014+ Lowering / Drop Kits
Bonjosco3ss replied to mjw930's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Not worried about bottoming out. I load the truck up from time to time. I just wanna keep it level when loaded. So it’s not sagging in the rear. -
2014+ Lowering / Drop Kits
Bonjosco3ss replied to mjw930's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Has anyone found a helper bag kit for a 3” drop in the rear. I was looking at the 4-6” drop kit and maybe making a spacer.
