You have air in the abs module, and need a scanner that is capable of cycling and bleeding the air out of the module. -

I like Fox 2.0 coil overs and shocks. -
Without knowing what engine and transmission at the very least it’s going to be tough to make a reasonable guess.

When you say went back to 85, do you mean E-85? -
I’m going to second the eBay reply, I’ve found some really obscure parts there, just beware of dirt cheap prices on supposedly the exact same part. I always purchase through PayPal for the protection.

Yes drill it out and make sure the stub lines up with the hole in the new one

Advice Needed - ‘08 Sierra
bubbanbrenda replied to Z71JR's topic in 1999-2013 Silverado & Sierra 1500
That is correct a proper delete would require replacing the cam and lifters and valley cover just to name a few, if the have the correct software and interface they can turn it off. -
Advice Needed - ‘08 Sierra

It would depend on what shape the rest of it is in. I had an ‘08 Z-71 Sierra that runs great but really bad rusty. I chose to sell it as is and use the money to buy a ’14 Silverado instead of spending the money to fix the rust. 2k plus labor to replace it with a used one isn’t bad. I would replace the rear main and oil pump and probably delete the AFM before putting it in if I was going to keep it. -

Fox 2.0 struts and shocks with Dirt King upper control arms will make it ride like a Caddy. But they’re extremely $PENDY!!! -

I chose HP Tuner for the versatility and more specific functionality myself, but I think either a gear change or smaller tires will give you the extra pep you want. You didn’t say exactly what tire size you currently have but the taller tires will only make the 3.08’s worse. I doubt that there’s enough turning available wit any tuner that would overcome that. -
Question for those that have done this mod…
bubbanbrenda replied to rjdjbd's topic in 1999-2013 Silverado & Sierra 1500
I replaced my regular mirrors on my 2014 with the larger tow mirrors of a three-quarter ton by original mirrors were heated but no turn signals. I put tow mirrors on it with turn signals and marker lights, and the turn signals work but the marker lights do not.
