  1. Trying to find out if there’s any good brand of retractable bed cover that has the pocket holes for the bed grap hole exposed. New AT4!!
  2. Good to hear, thanks! I keep looking on my driveway every day for the leak to start again.
  3. So far the RTV in the hole has held up and no leaks since. Ive put on a good 500 miles on it. I'll just ride it out until it starts up again.
  4. That's good to hear. Any idea how long the yoke is with out pulling the driveshaft? For now I just plugged the hole in the middle where it was leaking with some RTV, I dont know how this will effect the transmission but for now it has stopped the leak. I found a few sites where other have done the same, some people said not to because it is a vent hole. Hope the RTV keeps working until I can start to pull it apart looking for a bad O-ring.
  5. I'm measuring about 2.75" from the cover. Photo attached Is this too much?
  6. So I have a new problem that started about a week ago. The transmission slip yoke is leaking from the small hole at the U-joint. The rear seal is bone dry so I know that's good and not the issue. From what I can find online, I have a bad O-ring in the tail shaft. Anyone else ever has this issue and if so what was the corrective action? My truck is also has 5" lift blocks in the back, not sure if maybe I don't have enough engagement for the slip yoke? whats the best way to measure?
  7. So far I am averaging right about 16 MPG where prior I was getting 17 MPG. Not a big hit, very happy I got it done! Also no issues everything is working great.
  8. Bob, It was $1350, broken down to: 416.82 Yukon Ring and Pinion 4.10 364.58 Master Install Kit 56.52 Valvoline SynPower 500 Labor I know this is on the high end but I know that the shop and trust them when I cannot do something. Time wise from ordering to install was about 2.5 weeks. Installing was a day and half. So far MPG seems to have dropped 1-2. Also might help if I wasn't enjoying leaving stop lights now, lol.
  9. Yes I do have a tuner to correct the speedo due to tires and gears. Transmission feels no different smooth shifts. No new issues/ problems from the ABS and stabilitrac. I sill have an issue with the stabilitrac that started once I put the 35" tires on, but couldn't replicate. I'll post up my MPG after some more miles.
  10. Finally got the truck back! Only driven home and to work so I dont have a good base line yet for MPG. Expecting it to drop a little. Only issue that came up was the wrong sized pinion bearings that came with the kit and caused a day delay. Gears (Yukon 4.10) are quite and the truck feels a lot better off the line, almost like prior to having the 35" tires. The Kit used a ring spacer for the ring gear and I was able to keep my G80 carrier from the 3.08. Looking forward to the ride home! Lastly the shop couldn't diagnose the stabilitrak issue because it wouldn't kick on for them. I even did the test drive with the mechanic, ohh well.
  11. Dropped my truck off this morning, hopping all goes well with the install. I'll update when I get it back, hopefully today after work.
  12. I am in process of getting this done too. I have the 3.08 and going to 4.10, I was told I do not need to replace my carrier. There is an adapter ring that will allow you to use your 3.08 carrier. I will be dropping my truck off next Monday as parts just arrived today. I'll update when its done and if there were any issues during the install.
