  1. well i just came from dealer and they replaced leaf springs. still have noise not as bad as it was with 8k on old ones but still noticable. I will say dealer did everything they could, but gm is not giving any solutions to the problem, they are still same exact leaf as came on truck new- no redesign from ones they replaced. they have a lot of problems that i wish they would of fixed before they sent these trucks to the market. i dont like saying this but i should of stayed with toyota, they are way ahead of gm on many levels, but i just got caught up in the new bodystyle.
  2. i am another one to add to the list of dissapointed leaf spring owners on the gm trucks. not sure what they changed from the 13s and down but they need to figure the problem out.
  3. your picture of your leaf sping is how all of them will look when you install shackles it raises the rear up 2 inches- nothing to worry about. But like the other guy said if they did not install center pin in leaf spings that is a different story-look at the center of the leaf sping in between u bolts if you have a bolt going through the center your good.
