  1. I have the 3.08 rear and have the buffeting / vibration issue between 42 and 50 mph. It's pulsates similar to what's described above. Dealer wants to pull the headliner and do the bracing fix. I'm just not confident that it's the correct fix yet. Feel like I should be able to strap a spare tire down on it and if it goes away, I know it's the roof bracing and not a rear end issue.
  2. Cabin Buffering Hard / Low Idle that's getting worse. Aligned motor mounts once, took it back since it wasn't corrected and was then told it was normal operating. So I had to ask why there was a service bulletin for something that was operating as designed.
  3. Just came back from a trip to VA. I've rented several Tahoe's and Suburbans over the past few months. This time, 2015 Suburban LT wtih 9,800 miles, Arlington build. No issues with hard shifts or rough idle. Was very smooth and also did not have the pressure or buffering issue. If it did, it was barely noticeable.
  4. Doesn't matter how much noise is in the cabin. With the issue being discussed in this thread, this issue is also around pressurization. I believe that's why they are focused on roof bracing and flex. This isn't a simple rattle, chirp or squeek. I'm a long time Jeep owner. I'm used to those.
  5. Has anyone had their dealer apply the fix (remove headliner and re-brace) and it actually fix the problem? Parts are ordered for mine and will come in next week. I just don't want them tearing my vehicle up if it's not going to correct the problem.
  6. Same issue with my 15 Tahoe. AC on or off, same issue and gets worse as the vehicle warms up. Service manager rode with me today and felt it also. Going back on Monday. They already did the engine mount alignment. No change.
  7. Well, I'm at an absolute loss. My 2015 Tahoe LT (6spd Auto, 5.3L) not only has the cabin noise issue that is making eveyone sick and irritated in my family but I also have the low idle to the point of shaking the Tahoe and hard shifting at low speeds issues. Took me forever to finally pull the trigger on a vehicle at this price point and I can't believe what I'm going to have to go through now. With the noise, it's undriveable for my family. It's going into the shop for the 2nd time on Monday. The first time I took it in, I hadn't researched the issue and almost thought I would get laughed off the lot because they might think I'm nuts. Now I at least know my sanity is intact. I got this because I rent 2 - 3 Tahoes a month and all have been great. They are all responsive through the gears and dont' have any vibration or cabin noise. Then, I get home and get in mine and can't belive how bad it is. This will simply be trip #2 but at least I'm educated on the issue now. I will most certainly be looking for a buy back if this isn't resolved as I can't even get my family to ride in my family vehicle.
