  1. Ok guys, i finally got the problem fixed after several visits to the dealership. The vibration problem is the ring gear and pinion gear which i suspected in the beginning . Chevrolet had an issue with the cuts of these gears which they have yet to announce. Have the dealer check the backlash on the gears and they will find it is not in tolerance by Gm standards. Gm will send a replacement kit that has been corrected. You will need to be insistent on this process. This isn't a cheap fix for Gm and they will try to beat around the bush with the tire balance smoke screen. Keep calm but firm and it will go along ways in solving your problem. Hope this helps guys and be safe in your travels. Boomer

  4. Hello Guys. I recently purchased a 2015 Silverado Rally Edition and i too have the vibration issue. The dealership i purchased from bought back my first truck 2 weeks ago which was also a 2015 rally edition with the same issue. I just put it back in the shop for the same vibration as the first truck. I have a source that has shed the light on the problem with these trucks and i would like to share it. The problem is the worm gear being warped from a heat cycle issue Gm had at its plant. They are fully aware of this but have'nt decided to issue a recall just yet. Infact i was also told that a lot of the dealerships are not even aware of this yet explaining the problems with diagnosing the problem, because Gm is keeping it under wraps. Go next time to the dealership with hopefully a little more knowledge than you had before. Hope this helps all.
