  1. 78,000 miles on my 2015. Air conditioner condenser developed a leak last month and had to be replaced. Really pisses me off that I have read of that being a common issue and yet GM wont warranty it. Even the the service dept at the dealer commented that it was a common problem. Other than that I still love my truck and have had no other issues with it.
  2. Thanks for the information here. I have 53000 on mine and was having noticed very rough idle while sitting at stop lights lately. Time to get some cleaner.
  3. Dealer replaced mine under warranty even though it was a wear item. Said they would only replace it once though. The second cover hasn't had any problems
  4. 40,000 miles on mine. No problems. I never notice it. I did find that my 5.3 runs better on 89 octane. Doesn't like 93 though
  5. Odd that this seems to be so common as I have never had a problem in hot or cold weather with my new truck or my old 2001 Sierra
  6. You are right. My mistake, too early I guess. I would like to know how to keep it off.
  7. I would like to know also. If I have just me and my dog in the truck. Easier to keep an eye on him in the front seat but I don't want the air bag on.
  8. I found that running 89 octane helped my truck tremendously. 93 doesn't do anything for it but she seems to like 89. I used to stay in M5 in traffic most of the time but now I only use manual mode if it is stop and go crawling traffic
  9. I wasn't considering the Blue either until I saw it up close. I do get a lot of compliments on it.
  10. Only had mine for a month now but I have started keeping mine in M5 if I am in start and stop traffic slower than 45 mph. Other than that I usually keep it in auto. Kind of like drive and overdrive in my 01 Sierra. Just doesn't seem to have good response at those lower speeds to me
  11. Not too many blues around here. The dealer had 47 trucks on the lot when I bought and only three blue. I've only seen one other on the road since I bought mine a few weeks ago. Love the Deep Ocean Blue Metallic but learning is a btch to keep clean
  12. I am using an older iPhone 5s so it doesn't have to be the newer iPhone to work.
  13. Sorry it does not work on your Sierra. It does work on my Silverado. My iPhone does not need to be plugged in to charge, only connected thru Bluetooth. I do not have to set audio output to phone. Yes of course texting and using Siri is using my phone's data plan. So, if anyone has 2015 Solverado it should work.
  14. Had this problem myself connected thru Bluetooth. On the iPhone under notifications make sure phone is set to allow notifications. Also, while connected to your truck, go to Bluetooth on your iPhone, find your truck, (should say connected), touch the I with the circle and make sure show notifications is turned on there also. When you get a text it will give you a notification on the MyLink screen with various options including read text and respond
