  1. Ordered a Silverado LT 3500 Z71 Sport on Oct 6, received Mar 20. AT4 in generally a higher content truck - as soon as you click AT4 you get the full suite of options that you would have to select on the Silverado LT or LTZ. It's essentially a Denali in a jean jacket
  2. I ordered my Silverado 3500 LT SRW, Duramax, Z71 Sport, Conv 1 and 2, and 5th wheel prep on Oct 16. Truck was delivered last Friday and I should be in it tomorrow. Not the slowest, but it did seem the dealer had no idea what was going on until it was in transit. All the best for the folks still waiting
  3. Has anyone had any luck with aftermarket cab lights? Any successful installations?
  4. I ran this oil in my Coyote swapped notchback mustang. Can't say it is better than the other brands but it comes highly recommended from the track day guys and I that's where the car was being used. It's very expensive which is another factor to consider.
  5. It's the combination of options that's limiting the OP's selection. The color plus console, slider and double cab will mean it's going to be a LTZ. If you can go Crew Cab, you'll see some LT Value package (Texas Edition, Elevation etc) available with color, console and slider.
  6. I know you mentioned NM, but are you also in Houston? Interested in Fulshear. Cheers
  7. Are you guys having to drop the exhaust to get at the transmission pan and filter? Watched a video that showed some difficulty in removing the pan with the crossover pipe right below it.
  8. I just bought a MitiVac to do the power steering fluid on my wife's LX570 and it is going to make the trans fluid change so much easier than dropping the pan. Going to do trans, diffs and tc this weekend.
  9. I'd keep the gears you've got and see how it goes. You'll have to re-gear both front and rear, with limited aftermarket options. Probably looking at $1500-2000 at a shop plus a tune, and good bye powertrain warranty. Let's see some pictures when you're done.
  10. Check with your insurance provider as well as I heard the increased payload puts it into some higher tier of risk - second hand info so double check
  11. Mine drips down behind the passenger, front wheel. Inboard from the wheel by 4-6"
  12. Flip, did you keep 5100's with the Zone 4.5? I was told I would have to get rid of them. How does it ride?
  13. Right - 6.2 truck motor. Spend most of my time on the car swaps. Would the LS series need engine management?
  14. You've already picked the best option. Used RCSB, pull drivetrain, have a reputable shop build a new package. Should be manageable for $50K with a LS3.
