  1. I think it's the same. If you subtract the trailer weight from the GCWR for 5.3 with 3.42 gears, and compare to the 6.2L with Max tow, there is only 100 lbs difference, but I think the 6.2 with max tow weighs about a 100lbs more.
  2. Pick up my new to me '14 cc, short box Sierra tomorrow. Got the dealer to include a set of 18" gloss black chev rims with new Duratrac tires in stock size for the 18's. Truck is Iridium. Think it'll look good. I read this entire thread and think I've decided to buck the local trend. Just about everyone and their dog has a lifted or levelled truck with oversize tires. Even me, my last ride was a lifted xterra on 33's. Going to try just removing the blocks on the rear of my Sierra to keep a little rake as I'll often be carrying 250 to 500 lbs of dirt bike(s) in the rear. Just unsure how it'll look with the aggressive Duratrac tires. Don't mind the aggressive tires, as camping and just getting the bikes to the trail will see me on gravel and sometimes muddy roads. And they're great in winter. I'll post up a pic if I decide to go ahead with it. Googling for lowered truck and aggressive tires didn't get me much lol.
