  1. Okay I figured out more got the thing in the air today found no problems with anything with alignment or bearings or anything like that so I rotated the tires took it out for a drive. After driving about 10 miles it did it again I was on a back road so I stayed at a constant speed swerved did all kinds of maneuvers and resolved nothing. After a few seconds I had one more thought I slowed down to 40 miles per hour and hit the 4 wheel drive high button and the sound immediately stopped. So do I have a solenoid engagement issue or a bearing issue what's your thoughts.
  2. My 2005 Canyon has an issue that I can drive 5 to 10 miles and have no issues at all. I will have hit several bumps in the road with 0 issue. All the sudden I will hit a bump and the vehicle starts vibrating very loudly like a bad wheel bearing. It will not stop until I get below 20 miles an hour. Then it will stop vibrating and I can take off and travel for another mile or maybe up to 10 before it does it again. The weird issue is that if it was a bearing it would be more consistent and as I slowed down the pitch of the vibration would change. It does not the sound stays exactly the same whether I'm going 70 or 30mph, whether my transmission is engaged or in neutral, whether my engine is accelerating or idling. I just had the tie rod ends replaced 6 months ago so I don't believe it's that. I can't really tell whether it comes from the front end or back. I believe it's from the front one time I was able to get to the edge of the road and really crank my steering wheel hard one way and it corrected itself at about 30 miles per hour. Could it be the rack and pinion steering. I hope not.
