  1. I have a 2014 myself and have had that happen 3 times so far. It usually comes back after a little bit. I am waiting for an oil change to tell the dealer. I hope the update also fixes the voice commands because 75% of the time it doesn't get it right and I try to speak as clearly as possible.
  2. I had a '99 2500 Silverado with a 6.0L and it used a little over a quart of oil every 3,000 miles or so since the day it was new. The dealer told me that was acceptable. When I traded it in on my '14 1500 Silverado with a 5.3L it had 176,000 miles on it and burned exactly the same amount of oil as new. My '14 has 21,000 miles on it and it doesn't burn any oil at all.
  3. I had the same thing happen on my '99 silverado and it was the encoder motor. At the time it was something like $750 for the OEM part. The was an aftermarket part that was $220 and it work just fine.
  4. I have WeatherTech mud flaps installed on my truck and I was wondering if the Raptor OE Style Oval Nerf Bars will hit the mud flaps or if the will clear them without any problems?
  5. I am thinking of getting the Steelcraft 4" Premium Oval Nerf Bars in stainless steel and I was wondering if anyone else has installed them on their truck. I have looked thru this topic and searched the site also and didn't see where anyone has posted about them. I was also wondering about the quality of Steelcraft products and their durability. Thanks.
