  1. Looks great! Did you level your truck? Also, what tires and size do you have?
  2. I have about 4500 miles and overall mine is good. I have felt one or two big clunks, but not a common occurrence. I do notice that the shifts are not smooth when the transmission is cold, but once it warms up it shifts pretty good for a truck. I don't expect the transmission to be as smooth as a sedan or SUV.
  3. I will double check but I am pretty sure my rails are flush with the bed. Not sure what model truck is in the picture above but I have the plastic caps on the bed rail that lift the rails off the bed relative the front the bed. It is hard to tell from my picture but the flap seal wasn't installed uniform from the factory. The length the flap seal protrudes from the cover isn't uniform across the length of the cover. I called BAK Industries today and they are sending me a new seal kit to install. They answered the phone right away and didn't even question sending me the part. Definitely recommend their customer service!
  4. I just installed my Revolver X2 and have to say it is a really nice cover and pretty easy to install. One thing I did noticed is the weather seal on the front isn't a uniform width across and doesn't make contact with the bed as a result. I have attached a picture to show what I see, just curious if others with the Revolver X2 have seen the same issue? You can see in the middle of the bed the weather seal is much shorter.
  5. Thanks for the heads up! Looks like all BakFlip covers are on sale on Amazon. The Revolver is also at $828, which is $90 less than it was last week when I almost ordered the cover. Glad I held off! I am guessing this is a Father's Day sale.
  6. I am in a similar position. I like the look of the BAK Flip, but the video (link below) showing someone opening up a Bak Flip cover in about 10 seconds with a simple coat hanger is concerning. Just curious if anyone has had someone break into their truck with a Bak Flip cover?
  7. Can anyone with the Revolver X2 comment on the water tightness of the cover? I have read in this thread that it isn't water tight, but I am not sure how much water leaks into the bed during a strong rain. If I had luggage in the back and drove through a rain storm for several hours would the luggage get wet? Also, is the revolver X2 hard to roll-up in cold weather? I live in NY so below freezing is a common occurrence.
  8. Worked when I started the truck this morning....will keep an eye on it, but maybe I cleaned off the bugs using the washer fluid.
  9. Thanks for the information! I will wash it tomorrow and see if that fixes the issue.
  10. I am receiving a "Service Front Camera" on the DIC upon starting my truck. I also can not activate the lane keep assist switch. I assume this could be from a dirty camera lens; it has been misting/raining today. Any ideas of how to clean the lens?
  11. Nice setup. I have a Blackvue from about 3 yrs ago that I have setup in the front window (I don't have the two camera version) and I can't see it at all when I am driving. I didn't do the wiring to make it run while parked, never really worry about my car much when parked. I listed to a podcast recently that talks about some of the legal issues associated with dash cams. The link is below and is something I would recommend listening to for those looking to use a dash cam. The two big topics he discusses is don't erase video if you are in accident, especially if you are at fault. And be careful of recording conversations, either people in the car or via the speakerphone, as that can be against the law if people aren't made aware they are being recorded. http://oppositelock.kinja.com/the-legalities-of-dash-cams-the-podcast-1732600118
  12. Hi Greg any chance you could post a picture showing your truck with the winter setup on? I just bought a Denali and am curious how a more aggressive tire looks with the rest of the truck.
