  1. Totally normal. Mine did the same thing. It was on Chevy's website for 24 hours and then went down. A friend of mine ordered at the same time and it happened to him as well.
  2. Picked it up from the detail shop and she is ready for some miles.
  3. I am from NC originally and have purchased from the "large dealer with motorsport operations" and the experience was terrible. Great to hear that you avoided doing business with them and found a dealer with better customer service.
  4. I built the truck on the GM Supplier website and emailed the link to the dealer. Went in the next day and he keyed in the order while I was at his desk. Order went in and I left a deposit. The next day the salesman called and informed me that the tires on the wheels I wanted were on constraint. Went in the next day and built a second truck. Lucked out on the second truck as the dealer had an allocation for the max tow package that I was unable to get on the first truck. Order was immediately accepted by GM and a build date was assigned. A week later the salesman mailed me a copy of the Workbench order with all options listed along with the pricing for all tiers. The VIN was also listed on the Workbench order along with the order number that I used to track the build progress. Couldn't have asked for a better experience from the salesman. He regularly texted me updates on the build and once the truck started the trip to the dealership he tracked it daily and texted me the location. Once the truck arrived at the dealership he text a pic of it being unloaded. He had the truck inspected and prepped the following morning and that evening I was headed home with it. From order to delivery was 15 weeks. Truck is currently getting ceramic coated, PPF on front end, and window tint at a detail shop. Once I get it home the tonneau cover, swing cases, and my auxiliary fuel tank will get installed along with the upfitter switches. Can't wait to put some miles on it.
  5. About 4' in front, but I have my toolbox there.
  6. Picked up my truck last night. Ordered it October 5th and picked it up on January 16th.
  7. Truck has arrived in Denver. Currently sitting at the storage lot awaiting transportation by truck to the dealership. Roughly 55 miles to the dealership. Hopefully, I get it in a few days.
  8. Got a text yesterday from my salesman that my truck was on its way and would probably be delivered by the 20th. Ordered it on October 5th and it showed built on December 13th. So roughly 15 weeks from start to finish.
  9. Just got a call from the dealership today that my truck is completed. Now I play the waiting game for it to be shipped.
  10. Ordered my new truck on October 5th. Dealer had an allocation and GM accepted the order. Tentative build date came back 10/30-11/15. I called the dealer this morning and was told 11/18 was showing as the build date. I keep seeing guys post about receiving an email. Does GM send an email when the build starts?
  11. Finally got the ball moving on getting a 2024 Silverado LTZ 2500. Originally I sent the dealer an order for a black truck with midnight black edition. Couldn't get the max tow package or 5th wheel package. Dealer called me back that the order wasn't accepted due to the 18" mud terrain tires not being available. Went in the next day and sat down with the salesman and reconfigured a different truck. Switched to a sport edition in slate gray with 20" black wheels. Funny thing is they had an allocation pop up for max tow and 5th wheel. Submitted the order and it was accepted immediately with a projected build date of 10/30-11/15. Will see how long the process takes, but glad its at least accepted.
  12. I have a 60 gallon tank and have experienced the CEL and the gas gauge dropping to empty. What I currently do is once I get to half a tank I open the valve. It allows for the fuel leveler sensor to still move and still gives an estimated mileage range as well. No CEL's or empty tank reading since doing it that way.
  13. I get GM Supplier pricing. Was just wondering if there was wiggle room on the price like some of the GMC dealerships have been doing.
  14. What is everyone seeing for pricing on 2024 Silverado 2500's when ordering? Nothing on the lot for the options I want. Spoke with two dealerships and both won't budge off MRSP. Curious if that is the norm or if its a Colorado thing.
