I have searched the forum and found threads on this topic for 18" and 20" wheel sizes, but I didn't see any thread on the largest tires you can fit on a stock truck with 22" wheels. My truck is 4x4 and has the mag ride suspension. I have the denali ultimate wheels with stock 285/45/22 on. There isn't a lot to chose from in this size and I don't want to put 20" wheels on my truck either. Would a 305/40/22 fit on the truck without rubbing or messing up the suspension? Just curious to see what others have done as far as bigger tires on 22. Thanks for any input.

Then again, I mainly listen to music from my phone.

Hello fellow Houstonian. Do you mind me asking how much you got for yours? I love them on my truck but they do stick out to far when getting out of the truck and it is kind of annoying at times. Especially if it is raining.

I was just about to come on here and ask why their website doesn't list the MIT for the 6.2 on the 16s, 17s or 18s. So you pretty much answered my question. Glad to know if I order it for the year 15, it will work on my 17. Did you just keep the stock filter in there? I have no desire to put a wet filter in the factory intake box. I would prefer to just keep the stock one. Is there a reason they aren't updating it? Is there something slightly different about the tubing on the newer models?

I thought they used a Borla muffler in those. At least my muffler clearly says Borla on it. I have the GM catback for my 6.2 (installed at the dealer before picking it up) and you can hear it when accelerating buy going highway speeds, you don't even know it is there. I love it and so does the lady. The cat-back system is P/N: 19303346 I also added the chrome black tips that are P/N: 19303348

I have a 2017 Denali 6.2 and was curious as to if an entire CAI is needed or just an airraid jr kit would add a little? I already have the gm borla catback system on the truck.

I put wheels/tires on cars/trucks/RV's/etc all throughout college as my job (discount tire). Torque your wheels if you have the tools to do it. It was policy for us to torque every wheel we took off and put on. We used compacts as well but we have special torque sockets we had to use.

Yea I was wondering the same thing. I was kind of in a hurry when picking my truck up and later last night I was a little irritated with myself that I didn't ask. All I could come up with is they unbolted them and wiggled them around and re-torqued it lol.

I had mine checked out yesterday since I brought it in for an oil change/tire rotation. I told them it makes a squeeky noise when braking and clunks when going up hill and every now and then when I put it in reverse. Note this isn't moving from drive into reverse, it was when I started to move backwards it sounded as if the leaf springs or rear shackles shifted a little bit. This is what they reported and fixed: REAR SPRING SHACKLES ARE NOT SEATED PROPERLY - R&R SHACKLES --- REPOSITION --- RETORQUE FASTNERS --- LUBE I have drove it about 50 miles since then and again to work this morning. It appears that fixed the problem. Time will tell but so far so good.
