  1. Done a couple of them. I find the range of the wireless controller to be no more than a few feet from the truck and there's no lights on the remote control to see if something is left on or not. The lights on the actual unit change when turned off and on but if it's mounted under the hood it's tough to see. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  2. Just welded in a straight pipe. I was figuring if I didn't like that sound then go and put a muffler back in. Only cost $75 to try it out. Just make sure they keep flapper and resonator. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  3. On my 2015 5.3 I did a muffler delete, keeping the flapper and resonator in. I found by leaving the flapper and resonator in when V4 kicked in on the highway the drone and chop from V4 was not that noticable. When I did the same mod on my 2017 6.2 they cut the flapper out with the muffler and the drone and sound of the truck was louder then I wanted. They put the flapper back in and the sound around town is great and on the highway it's almost as quiet as stock. I would try just the muffler delete, keeping the flapper and resonator. It's a cheap start and if you don't like the sound then you go back and put a muffler on it. Unfortunately one person's quiet exhaust is too loud for others, just do a little mod at a time till you find the sound. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  4. We are happy with it, can't even tell the body lift is there till you look hard. Everything had come a long way. Now someone just needs to buy it! The door moldings are a pain to get off. Too much risk of paint damage, especially on black. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  5. LED door handles? Don't believe I've seen those yet. Anyone with a pic? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  6. I did the muffler delete but kept the flapper. Keep the tailpipe as it is with the resonator. It sound good around town, and damn near stock on a highway run. However when you pass someone you get to hear it again. It barks good on cold start but calms down quick. Best cheap money I spent! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  7. And there is a snap on cover for the flexplate access hole. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  8. Is there a hitch on it? Looks like it might have had one before. They bolt in that same spot as the bumper. As for the bumper, is plastic covers over the steel structure underneath. It's nothing big and heavy like you were used to. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  9. Truck we built out of the shop. 2019 3500. 7.5" Rough Country, 3" body lift, 40x15x22 Nittos on 22x12 TIS wheels. Normally it's not my style but loved how it turned out! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. I like the muffler delete. Had them leave the flapper valve in as well as the tailpipe resonator and it's just as quiet on the highway as stock, but you hear it nice in town. If you turned off the radio and AC you can hear it on the highway in V4, but who does that! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. Another cool night and it's in 14's for sure. Maybe I'll bite the bullet with a minor tune and a few other not so intrusive mods. As much as I want to leave it alone, I can't leave all that power trapped in there! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. For sure, was still a fun night. Now to fight the temptation to play with it more. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  13. 2200 ft here, was probably 85ish. Was pretty hot in the evening. You could feel the torque management off the line contributing to the soggy throttle. There was a 5.3 truck that couldn't break 16.0. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  14. Got some track time at a work function last night and finally got a decent time for this truck. 17 GMC 6.2 CC SB, only mod is muffler delete. Managed to get a 15.10@92mph. Turned off stabilitrak and traction control but still had some throttle interference on the launch. 4wd helped the traction issue, but once they get going it pulls hard on the top end...... For a pickup truck! It's all just for fun, but it is almost as fast as some cars I've owned! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  15. Agreed, 6.2's can get amazing mileage for what they are if you can keep your foot out of it for a trip. Better get a tonneau on mine soon. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
