  1. I'm getting new tires this week and as it is right now I have an appointment on Wednesday at bj's. I'm getting the general tire grabber hts60. my question is does bj's get the same tires that townfair or any other tire place would get. I know say buying a tv from BJs the model # is slightly different than say bestbuy. just want to see or make sure no one has had problems going to BJs or should I got to townfair?.... thanks Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  2. I have the 6 speed. So that mobil 1 can't be used with the 6? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. 02. I was thinking the same it doesn't look to bad. Could I get away with using one of those pumps to suck the fluid out and not drop the pan for the filter. I can drop it not a problem but seeing as it isn't to bad. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  4. Ok heres a better pic Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. Sent you a message. Also I just checked the fluid. Doesn't look bad but I took a pic just to put here. Would you still change it. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. I'm just curious that I don't put a bunch of miles on it and it is now over 5 years that that's too long of a time. I will say I hate the tranny. When the truck downshifts from 3-3 and 2-1 I have that jerk/slam. Not always but a good amount today. Was reading a fluid change may "help" lessen that Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. Not looking for you to do my work but do you have a link or something of what mobil 1 to use or is it in the forum here? Also I just looked up the amsoil...is it really 33 bucks a quart? Yikes. Would mobil 1 be ok to use over amsoil? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. Hey guys. Haven't been on for a while but wanted to see what you guys have done or thought. I have a 15 Silverado with 37k. I don't do severe or really long driving. I think I'm like everyone else in saying I hate either the tranny or the factory tune but none the less have read ppl saying the truck shifts a bit nicer once the original fluid is replace. So my question is .. is 37k in 5 years ok to do a tranny fluid change? I would drop the pan and get a new filter. Also change the transfer case fluid? Couple things if I should change the fluid is I read use mobil 1 tranny fluid not the ac delco...true? Also when replacing the filter some ppl have said leave the o ring in and reuse? And also read of a hack to put a 2x4 under the exhaust and rachet it out of the way to get the pan out... Have you guys done that? Thanks Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. Installed the arms last night at the shop. Probably took about 4 hrs. Tried removing the cam bolts w the strut in. 2 came out, 1 on each side but the front ones were hindered by the spring so removed the struts. Once the struts were out it went by much faster and smoother. I think trying with the strut in added some un-needed time. I did it on a lift but could have tackled it with some Jackstands and a Jack. I advice 2 ppl just to manipulate different parts but on your own would just take a bit longer. At the shop now getting an alignment. Already feels a little better. I will say these things are beefy. Definitely worth the upgrade and price Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. I installed my level at the shop on a lift as well. Will probably die the same this weekend once I receive the arms. I'm sure I'm over complicating what I did previously by thinking to much into it. Definitely looking forward to getting this done and feeling t by e difference Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  11. At least it will be worth it. I just remember trying to put the strut back in after adding the block to the strut for the 3 in level. What a b!+@& that was. Oh and I see you left the bump stop.... I here popp say lose it but i don't want any over travel. About how long did it take you from start to end? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  12. EchoHow much of a pain was this. I have a 3 in level as well and am ordering the uca tonight from RC. Are you happy with the RC control arms? What was the biggest pain of installing them? Did you feel a difference? Were you able to put the uca in in your driveway? Any device before i tackle the job? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  13. That's what I was thinking that I would need to remove it. Not impossible just a pita. How do you like the new arms. Does it ride better, feel smoother, ect . Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  14. Like the question says I'm looking to replace my uca with new ones from RC. I have a motofab 3 in level and reinstalling the strut was a bitch when leveling it the first time. My concern is do I need to remove the strut or can I get the cam bolts out with the strut still in place. If no need to remove I can do it right in the driveway if I have to i may need to bring it down to the garage Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  15. Yea I've been searching FB marketplace and cl. I see some on there but can't swallow 3-400 to replace the whole grill for a cracked mesh insert. Would love either of these 2 grills but just want something not broken. Lol. Thanks for the link. I never saw this site. Definitely appreciate it Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
