  1. I can confirm that using 89 instead of 87 removed all hesitation, plateaus, and studders. I ran 89 for 2 tanks earlier this year to test, then switched back to 87 (same gas station for all). Difference is night and day. Most of my commute is city, and I could tell right away that there was substantially less power, specifically during shift changes. Do yourself a favor and start drinking 89. Your truck will thank you in the long run. I opted against 93 only because of price. An extra $15/tank isn't worth the hassle.
  2. Awesome follow up!! Since posting this in March, I checked them again in June, and noticed that just one bolt had pulled back to 40lbs or so. A little thread locker, and we're good to go!
  3. I had the same thing for the first 1k miles or so. Most of my commute is slow and hilly, so it annoyed the crap out of me. Came down to axle wrap. The leaves in the rear were slapping each other, making it sound like there were bowling balls in the back. Torque all 8 U-bolts down to the recommended 78ft-lbs and you'll be good to go. Mine were at 10-15lbs each.

  5. I had a manual slider on my old truck. Didn't use it as often as I thought I would. I even specifically bought it with it, thinking I'd use it all the time. Dropping the rear windows is much more effective.
