  1. How did you go about painting the bezels? Did you get them to color match the black very well?

Very nice look... I have a similar looking truck, all black '15 LT Rally Edition and I added the same all black tow mirrors that you have. Question for you...how did you do the color matching bezels around the headlights? The stock chrome bezels drive me crazy on my all black truck and have been trying to figure out the best way to remove them. Did you remove just the bezel and paint them? Or did you replace the entire headlight unit?
  3. "...when approaching the vehicle at night and using the remote lock." So your saying you have them connected sort of like "puddle lights"? Don't you have to hit the cargo switch to enable them? How do you turn them on with your remote?
  4. I had mine added to my '15 LT 1500, everything I've read in this thread is correct. The ONLY thing that I've read that I see a discrepancy with is that when I have my cargo light switched ON; the backup light stays ON even after I've shut the vehicle car off and pulled out the key from the ignition. Using that example I would have to hit my cargo switch back off to turn them off. FYI: I paid $435 for the lights (black edition, no chrome) and $250 for the harnesses. Also I was billed for 4 hrs of work at $100/hr. GM states that the work should take 2hrs however I couldn't find a dealer that would agree to this timeframe.
  5. Sorry I'm not in the Texas area so I can't answer your question but I have one of my own. How did you get the amber lights to work as turn signals? My mirrors work as expected (LED Back-up lights, Amber clearance lights, red turn signals on mirrors...but I would love to get the amber lights to work as turn signals. Also could it be that your particular model needs Camper Mirror Harness Kit "RZY" P/N 23387133
  6. Excited over my new truck... 2015 1500 Double Cab LT "Rally 2 Edition" -5.3L V8 -Front bench seating (leather) -Tow Mirrors -Nav -Cargo LED lights Mods I'm looking to do... -Projector headlights with black bezel -Plastic dip or Wrap chrome areas of front and rear bumpers
  7. Wanted to share my experience... Purchased a 2015 Double Cab 4X4 LT (Rally Edition) last week with stock mirrors. Negotiated the tow mirrors into the deal (part 23372182); settled on the all back ones since I got the all black truck with matte black stripes. Paid $437.50 for them since they have an agreement with my company (CVS Pharmacy) and offer "supplier" pricing, so all accessories are sold at dealer cost. Dealer calls me up this week right before they install the mirrors to tell me that in order to have the mirrors fully functioning (outside amber/red turn/white cargo lights) that I would need 2 additional parts, the door harnesses @ $125 each. So I said, "...not my problem, I'm not coming out of pocket for it. My expectation when I asked for the mirrors was that they fully work as they are designed". After some back and forth and me threatening to walk away from the deal they said they would pay for them. The next day they call me back and tell me that although GM sets the expectation that the mirrors AND harnesses take a TOTAL of 2hrs to install...their service department says it takes more like 4hrs to get the job done and recalibrate the trucks computer with the new codes. So they wanted me to pay for part of the $465 labor costs. Once again I told them to kick rocks. Finally they agreed to cover all costs for fear of losing the deal. FYI...from what I'm told by the dealer there is NO WAY that the dealership would or could get the mirrors to fold electronically. Every other function is possible if the BCM is properly programmed. They run your vehicle's VIN through their system and if the computer says your truck can be outfitted with the codes then they will do it.
