  1. Fair price is normally fair by the region. Trucks in Plano are less than say Los Angles as the market is different. Use Truecar with your zip to get a ballpark. Incentives are based on dealer/mfgr offers. And yes, if you have outside financing you may lose a rebate that would have applied if you financed with the say GM financial. Always shop the vehicle you want, and not for the deal. I will say that most people say Laura GMC deals in such volume they will have what you want and at a very decent price. I'm sure you'd find that the same truck in your area would be less at say Laura (but the difference might be the cost of a one way flight or shipping the vehicle).
  2. I didn't use this specific one, but a similar one via EBAY. I gave them my VIN, paid $600 and they shipped me a HMI module. Took 10 minutes, to install and had built in NAV. I think the newer IOS units cost more cause they have the text to speech and the carplay stuff. It worked fine, and was better than onstar (a handled map is better if you ask me). But,to be honest, if you have a smartphone just get a holder and save the $$$.
  3. My wife's explorer has push start. My Silverado has a key. They both start their respective vehicle. Much like beauty, it's all in the eye of the beholder.

  5. On my '14 Silverado when I first got it I changed the cabin air filter... Well, start the truck and no screen, but hear audio. Short story, there's a cable that runs from the screen to the HMI module, had a short. Worst part, had the truck a week, sitting there saying how the heck could changing the cleaner wig out the screen
  6. New owner of a 2014 LT with the 8 inch infotaiment screen. As it's a used truck, i figured I would need to replace the cabin air filter. When I was done, I turned the truck over and had like you described - black touch screen, but I could press the screen and stuff would happen.... Removed lower glove box again, started truck and screen comes on. With it running, I put it back in and as I pushed in the lower left corner the screen went out. Seems like there's a harness in there that can get pinched. Totally weird, but totally happened! Made sure to insert the box slowly and this time it stayed lit; so all good and no reason to go to the dealer and go crazy...
