  1. Hi everyone, my water pump is starting to leak and I was going to replace it but I have heard varying numbers for the torque spec from 7-22ftlb. I was wondering if anyone here has the torque spec for the bolts?
  2. Also slightly off topic but My transmission cooler lines are starting to leak in the flexible hose portion and I know that the lines include the thermostat but I am unsure which part number GM is using with the hose set. Does anyone know if the new part number thermostat is being included with the transmission cooler line sets?
  3. I'm currently at 40000mi and I have noticed that my truck has a clunk when shifting between drive and reverse. I had someone shift for me and I watched the rear end, there appears to be a few degrees of rotational play in the rear end, It is not from the u joints the input is what turns. I have a feeling that this is somewhat normal but i'm not sure, Is this something I should worry about?

  5. My truck is currently in getting the pump replaced, for anyone interested I have attached the newest service bulletin, MC-10145479-9999.pdf
  6. The low pressure EGR sounds like a great step forward. While no EGR would be preferable, pulling exhaust gas after the DPF will greatly reduce the amount of crap that gets recirculated into the intake.
  7. So I have been checking the fuel pressure with my scan tool and noticed that every morning it is close to or at Zero on both the high and low pressure sides. I am unsure if this is normal or not and I will admit that my knowledge of modern fuel injection systems is fairly limited . I would appreciate it it someone could let me know what is normal and what is not.
  8. Well took the truck to the dealer, I was basically told that no codes=no problem even after showing them the oil analysis. They said they checked the fuel pressure on the low and high pressure sides and they looked och. They blamed the fuel contamination on the cold weather and my Airaid MIT due to the lack of baffles which I call BS on.
  9. When I took the oil sample it was directly after a period of highway driving to get the truck fully warmed up as Blackstone sugguests. I drive 15-20 min to work on weekdays but frequently take hour plus trips on the weekend so the truck does get fully warmed up fairly regularly. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  10. I only have about 34000 miles in the truck. The other thing I noticed is a drop in Fuel economy from 19 hwy and 15-16 city to 17 hwy and 12-13 city It occurred around when I got new tires in November and I assumed it was due to heavier A/T tires but i'm now wondering if it is related to this as well. The Report I got from Blackstone did not indicate any unusually high numbers other than fuel dilution of the oil that combined with my low mileage makes me doubt that my rings are shot.
  11. Not 100% but I would assume I either have an issue with a fuel injector or the high pressure fuel pump.
  12. I started noticing that the oil level in my truck was increasing about a month ago and sent a sample into Blackstone labs, they reported back that I had 5.3% fuel in my oil. what are my chances of getting the issue fixed under my trucks extended warranty? is 5.3% fuel in oil enough for GM to do anything?
  13. Figured I could add some updated pics of my truck Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
  14. At 31,000 miles my factory General Grabbers were done. I wanted to get something slightly more agressive and TerrainContacts caught my eye. They seem to be well rated by multiple places online and are supposed to wear well. My inital impression of the tires is excellent, they look great ride well and for an A/T tire they are very quiet I think they will serve my purposes well. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
