  1. I have the 5.3 with 3.42 gears. I sold my camper so I haven't been able to pull a lot. I have pulled several times with 3,000 lbs up Mountains with similar grades as you are describing. No issue at all. With that weight I accelerate up the grades. I am interested to see how it does with 7,000 lbs or so. I think it will handle it well. If you are currently pulling that same load with your old 5.3 with 3.73 the new truck will out tow it easily...even with 3.42 gears.
  2. Sorry if this has been covered in this 600 page thread, but I have a few questions. I have started to notice vibrations at speeds of 65-75 mph. I have a 2015 crew cab with about 6800 miles. 1- If I take this in to have the dealership start the process of identifying the problem, I assume that this is at zero cost to me, right? 2- One reason I ask #1 is because I do have a 2.5" RC level with 33" tires and aftermarket wheels. The preliminary service bulletin I have read mentions that the dealership must remove a leveling kit if there is one. So, if they do this, do they put it back on after diagnosis? Do they refuse to put it back on? Will they charge me for all of this diagnosis based on my having the leveling kit? Seems like a definite warranty issue, but given the leveling kit has to be removed, seems like the dealer might try to stick me with a bill. Thoughts?
  3. I used the block provided with the RC kit, which adds an extra 1" to the rear. Many people have used the same lift but do not install the new rear block...I did install it.
  4. Thanks. I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out: 2015 LT Z71 5.3 3.42 2.5" RC Level Kit, with the included 1" rear block 275/70R18 Cooper AT3 on 18x9 Black Rhinos 5% Tint Back Windows, 20% Front Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Bed Cover (which is folded up in this pic for whatever reason) I think thats about it.
  5. 2015. 2.5" RC lift with replacement block in the back. 275/70/18 Cooper AT3. 18x9 Black Rhino Seirra's with +12 offset. No rubbing.
  6. Newbie here. Just got RC 2.5 inch installed on the 2015 Silverado Crew Cab. I didn't quite get the lift, per my before and after measurements, that I expected. My front increased from 36 1/4" to 38 5/8".....so a 2 3/8" increase. Not the 2.5" as expected. The back increased from 38 3/4" to 39 5/8"....so a 7/8" increase, not the 1" as expected. Is this common....from reading prior posts it seems most others get the full 2.5" in the front and 1" in the back. I made sure on my measurements I am measuring in the same spots on the truck and parked in the same spot. Not big differences....but annoying nonetheless.
