  1. Think I’ll be buying a Ford next diesel I buy. I’ve already been through the oil pump pick-up tube with my 05 5.3 that I bought new. Then the 8 speed transmission problems with my 2015 half ton that I bought new, oh which also dropped a valve on the 6.2 engine at 69k miles. Now to the 2015 Denali hd diesel I bought as a certified pre- owned which had half a foot of play in the steering when I picked it up…. So many dealer problems with that, I don’t want to type! Oh then there’s the cp4 pump crap on the $70k diesels, now the paint flying off as I drive down the road!!!!! SMDH in shame!!!
  2. It’s also funny that with all the gm reps on this site, all ya hear is crickets!
  3. It’s also a shame that my sons 2005 2500 SLT paint looks better than my 2015.
  4. Mine is parked in a shed 70% of the time! I think I’ll just take a black paint marker and write some anti gm rhetoric on the panels!!!!
  5. Just noticed my 2015 Denali HD in summit white is doing the same thing on the driver side rear door. I thought a turkey had taken a crap on it then I noticed it was the turkey turd tan primer gm uses and the paint evidently just flaked off over night. Whats next?
  6. What are you supposed to do with the funnel after use? Throw it on the third row leather seat? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. What kind of front bike rack do you have? What did you have to put on for mounting, a front hitch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. It also had the engine replaced at 69k miles for a dropped valve after a valve spring broke, if that makes you feel any better. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This is the HD section... but I had a 2015 slt that had two put in it while I had it and under 60k miles. Traded for a Denali diesel and never turning back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That’s one way to work also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I drive 40 miles to work, 1/2 highway, 1/4 country roads, 1/4 city. In between I’m taking or picking up kids from ball practice. I fill up with diesel every week, most times Thursday-Thursday. The gas pumps around here are havoc and would hate to have to stop 2 or 3 times a week running a 6.0 with e85. Just my 2cents! Btw, I pull a 10,000 lb travel trailer and on the interstate running 70 mph I get 12 mpg. The slower I go the better it gets. I average a regen about every 3 fill ups which last 30 or 35 miles. Drops the mpg for that short time to 9 with 10k lbs, 16 with nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So I took my 2015 back with 60,000 miles because it was a certified used truck. 1 inch of play in steering and couldn’t keep it in a straight line. Took it back to Howard Bentley in albertville al where it was purchased. They adjusted the steering box. I couldn’t even keep it on the road, as now it was so tight with the same play. Drove back to the campground, because I was on vacation, with a loud hissing noise coming from the vehicle. The tech forgot to tighten the clamp back on the intercooler, which blew off the next morning going fishing. I spent half a day on my vacation removing the inner fender and putting the pipe back on!!!!!! They didn’t have a tech to send out!!!! They also topped off the def!!!! Smdh!!!!! As you can see spilled the s@“@ everywhere and didn’t bother to clean it up!!!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Usually flashing means limp mode or reduced power mode. Possibly a loose connection on a coil pack? Don’t know why it wouldn’t hold the code though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Def fluid smells like grease to me. I don’t think it would be burning your eyes. Turn the air recirculation on and see if you still get the fumes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Could be the trailer brakes. Check wiring to the axles for breaks. I had a brand new trailer that the wires were routed in such a way when the suspension moved for the first time it cut the wire into. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
