I put the rear shocks on last night, well my son in law did anyway. I was still getting my tools sorted out and I heard him from under the truck say "well that's one down"
Definitely improved the ride, smoothed out the bumps on the roads I travel daily a lot.
I think the rear shocks made just as much difference over the stock Ranchos as the 5100s did on the front.
FWIW, we put them with the boots down.
I received my 5100s for the rear of my 2014 double cab Z71 this evening, I'll be putting them on this weekend. I put 5100s on the front on the highest setting in January, no regrets here. Summit Racing has them for 71.00 a piece for the rear shocks right now.
I finally got my Bilstein 5100's put on, front only. I have a 2014 double cab Z71. I got exactly a 2" increase in the front. In my opinion it seems to be a great improvement over the stock ranchos. I still have about an inch and a half of rake which I am fine with.
