  1. Yeah i saw it. I ordered a bunch of vinyl samples myself to compare. Im starting to think if i want it to be a good match i may have to paint and add a clear film over it for damage resistance. Was hoping it would be easier/cheaper than that though.
  2. I wasn't in love with all the chrome, so I plasti-dipped most of it. I think I still want to do something with the bumpers, anyone able to find a decent color match vinyl to wrap them with?
  3. It seems to me, what you are really struggling with, is deciding if you have the ability to inflict harm on another, even if it is justified. I can understand that, very few people like the idea of hurting anyone else. You are probably like most people, in the fact that you may go your entire life without your life being put in jeopardy by another human being. The purpose of owning or carrying a gun is not because of the average day, or even the unusual, but that one random day 3 years and 184 days from now when you find yourself in a situation, where you might have to kill someone else to survive. I don't mean to push you towards something you aren't comfortable with, and by all means the odds are in your favor that a gun may never help you. Its just food for thought.
  4. Plasti-dipped the wheels and badging, and removed the air dam. I think I want to do the grille and bumpers as well.
  5. I got them from amazon, right around 200 bucks. There is no way to adjust them vertically. I did the install myself, took about 1.5 hours, but that was because the wind blew the instructions away a few times with me chasing them. The instructions were not spot on, the middle two mounts on mine had existing nuts welded to the body while the instructions said to use the clip-nuts. Just mount everything and line if all up well before tightening anything down.
  6. I installed a set of the 5 inch black iboards today. Plenty strong and even at 5 inches they only stock out past the wheels about an inch. There was some room to adjust them in and out, this is them sitting as tight to the truck as I could get them. http://imgur.com/V9Hmuhy.jpg http://imgur.com/x1S9wsP.jpg http://imgur.com/wvygvQc.jpg
  7. Just got it two weeks ago, added a tonneau cover already but planning my mods. Here is the starting point.
