  1. I kinda hate this time of year. Too hot for snow tires and to cool for the all season 22s it would seem. At least the vib is intermittent. Im finding lately just driving the crap out it seems to fix a lot of issues... I've discovered that when my truck vibrates due to being in too high a gear at too low a speed is fixed easily by pushing the accelerator to the floor. The tuner taught me how to drive this truck. Hard.
  2. I also had it tuned, 2 new rear ends and a new drive shaft. so it was more than tires on mine. I'm just glad mine was finally fixed. It also has been said on this thread that there is more than one cause for this vibration problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. In my case warranty covered it all. The crap Bridgestone Duellers were sent back to manufacturer and Michelin Defenders were installed because they are a very good tire. I drive my truck every day 130 kph smooth as glass. I think in my case GM realized it was cheaper to buy good tires over buying back my truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The Michelins that are now on my truck meet the 15 lb spec. My truck no longer vibrates. The tires were replaced under warranty. It has been mentioned numerous times in this thread, sometimes by me, that this is the spec for these trucks.
  5. Proof that GMs wax undercoating is not working very well. lol
  6. The frame treatment on our trucks is pretty disappointing. I noticed a co workers F150 has a nice shiny black painted frame and that made me kinda mad. Mines rusty and only 8 months old. I've been contemplating getting it looked at by the dealer but geez another f n issue. I'm probably not gonna keep it long enough to worry about it so I dunno...
  7. Last week I had 4 new Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires installed. After few days driving I am happy to report that most of the vibration is gone. There is a small intermittent vib at around 125kph. These tires are phenomenal.
  8. A good dealer can make all the difference in the world. Sometimes the little guys will go that extra little bit just to retain a customer. My dealer has been phenomenal, they recognize there's an issue and are doing the best they can to fix. I just had 4 Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires installed, again my dealer doing that little bit extra trying to fix the problem. Will update once I've driven at freeway speeds, but so far things are looking good.
  9. finally a nice day so my truck got a bath for picture day free photo upload
  10. Maybe GM discovered a problem and changed it for 16. Who knows. Tightening seems to be working for some and thats good. Didn't help mine at all so thats not good but now at least maybe the rear axle won't fall off.
