My version on my 2015 WT Silverado is io4

I am not sure what software version I have but its the small 4" screen.

After buying the GM camera and bezel online I went to three dealers and finally the third dealer had the knowledge to program the camera to make it work on my 2015 WT. Most dealers have no idea how to do the programming. The dealer never even exposed the HMI under the glove box. All they did was plug in their computer under the dash and entered the proper codes, which they received from GM, and the back up camera worked.

Anthony from MVI sent me this link to determine if my 2015 Silverado WT is prewired for a back up camera. It will be the same for your Sierra. My GM dealer told me that GM does not support the adding of a back up camera based on my VIN. I believe that will be the same for your Sierra WT. Anthony at MVI can program your HMI module. You can either send him your HMI and be without your truck (truck will not turn on without the HMI) or for an extra charge he will sent you a swap out one. Good Luck!
