  1. Great looking truck man. Do you have it leveled? And if you do what did you use?
  2. I think it's funny how people think GM trucks are the only ones with issues.. Switching brands isn't always the answer. I can see how people get feed up with GM and switch because of that, but just be careful cause fords and dodges both have their own issues, and similar ones too. But in regards to the post, my 2015 6.2L 8spd shifts pretty well. When I first got it and it was learning my driving it was definitely annoying and I actually had the dealership reset the tranny once. But after that it's been fine. There are hard downshifts here and there, mostly random, but nothing that shakes the whole vehicle. I also tuned my ECM with the Diablo intune i2 and it made the whole truck drive so much smoother. Can't wait till Diablo offers support for the TCM of the 8spds
  3. Nope. No rubbing at all. Just have to get use to the little bit of extra road noise.
  4. 33x12.5x22 Toyo M/T. Stock chevy 22's with a 2.5 RC level
  5. Rough country 2.5 level on 33x12.5x22 Toyo M/T's
  6. What do you mean by the factory polished face will be high polished?
  7. Thanks for the info. I was going off what i read about people putting the fox 2.0's on and needing a spring compressor. I was assuming it was the same kind of install. Thanks for the info. 8. You're right about that, But I think he was asking about putting them on the truck, not adjusting once there on. Cause to get the new coilovers on the truck you need to use a spring compressor correct? And from what Ive read, you need a pretty damn strong one so thats why most people bring it to a shop to get them on.
  9. From what I've heard and read (i haven't upgraded yet) it is better to take them to a shop because you need a wall mounted spring compressor to get the new ones on. I'm sure some of the guys on this thread who already have them will chime in and let you know more.
  10. I saw somebody else do this with their white truck and i didn't really like the look. But for some reason I think this color looks awesome with it. Great choice
  11. Thanks for the info man. Thats kind of annoying they didn't let you know. Extended travel is what I want though! Down side is the extra $600-700 for the new arms though. Id probably just do it the right way and get the new arms if I were you.
  12. Upper control arm. Camburg makes a nice one. Im not super mechanically inclined but if you do a little research, you'll learn a lot! Based on what I've read I'd go with camburg. I know for some stages of the Icon suspension it actually comes with a uniball UCA made by Icon. Both are good.
  13. Yes, this suspension, if i remember correctly, can lift your truck 0-3". It basically does the same as a leveling kit, except it is better for your truck, as long as you get aftermarket UCA and such for the extended travel you now have, but it also upgrades your suspension to better then stock. Bilstien is another popular brand, they lift your vehicle around 2" and Rancho quick lifts is another. Those are the cheaper versions, still good products though. This type of suspension is called "ride height adjustable suspension" usually. Icon, Fox, and Kings are the more expensive brands, quite a bit more expensive actually haha. It's all about the money you want to spend. I plan on getting bilstiens first and then in the future upgrade to Icon.
