  1. RCSB, leveled, 285/70/17 bfg ko2s, fully loaded with gear for two guys and three dogs. Here are two recent trips I took, the Speedo isn't recalibrated so I actually did a little better than what's shown. Best tank was 22 mpg on clear premium.
  2. Yeah it does hurt but it will never happen unless your wire is damaged and you can see it arcing, just use some common sense. You've never adjusted the timing on a running engine before?
  3. Maybe it's my commercial driver ocd but I occasionally check things like plugs and wires (there's no plugs on a rig but we go over everything before each trip). Start the truck and touch each wire, you'll feel a bit of a tick if a plug wire is coming loose or a plug is backing out. My '05 will back out the number one plug periodically, haven't seen any problem with my '15 and I do a lot of driving on washboard dirt roads and forestry roads. Pop those hoods every now and then folks!
  4. I got my A.R.E. Z camper shell installed. The paint match is perfect, right down to the orange peel and all.
  5. My truck has it also, '15 GMC Sierra rcsb. Its not bad but I'm worried about it bugging me on long trips so I'm going to attempt to get it fixed before hunting season since I'll probably be driving from CA to MT or SD in the fall.
  6. All I've towed so far is the River Queen and the Bass Cat.
  7. Finally washed mine after owning it for almost six months. I might throw a coat of wax on her today.
  8. All of your shiny trucks look great! Mine is filthy and will be 95% of the time (I hate washing cars), not exactly sure what I was thinking when I bought black. ?
  9. Ok, I installed my cai today and I must say it looks pretty good. The big airbox and filter fill up the space nicely. Now I just have to get used to the sound it makes, it has a weird growl at low rpm/ lots of throttle. Before After I only have 1,250mi on my truck but there was no oil in my intake or throttle body.
  10. Sweet trucks everyone! Really like the blue trucks. I also really like the lowered 2wd trucks, makes me want to get my '88 on the fast track but I'm still saving pennies for an Ls3 for it. I put these double wall, powder coated tips on Friday (will get welded soon) and I have an intake I'll probably install tomorrow.
  11. Got some tips today for my Borla exhaust. I wanted them to sit back behind the bed so it won't crush into it if I put it into some rocks off road. I will weld them up later once I decide on the final placement.
  12. This was waiting for me when I got home from work. My initial thoughts? Damn, the air box and filter are HUGE! A little overkill I think. I'll install it when I get a chance and give a report.
