2015 Silverado Dash Rattle
Tong Lu replied to ChevyBrad1500's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
Mine had the same issue under the steering wheel when I bought the Truck, I love how you can see the blue mark where someone actually checked off after it was tightened. They need to adjust their screw gun at the factor. -
no tools needed really, Just get one of the diodes from Radio Shack or order 100 from amazon for 4 bucks. I pulled the brown plug out(squeez the tab and pull, comes out very easily). Stick the side of the diode with the white line in the 22 slot and stick the other side in the 10 slot. They are fairly close together, the 22 is 2 slots up from the 10. I'll get a picture but I haven't had luck posting pictures on this forum, the filesize is always too big.

2" Front Lift, Max Tire Size?
Tong Lu replied to freshstart12's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
Are you using the stock wheels or new ones? You can fit 34's if you get new wheels with a negative offset. I have 33's on mine with a 0 offset and there's a good 2 inch of clearance between the tire and the fender at full lock. -
I used the diode on the parking light relay with the fog so it only cones on at night and not with the DRL.

Bilstein 5100 adj shocks (front and rear)
Tong Lu replied to hokis's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
Just ordered these. Will install the rear first. I have a 2.5 inch RC leveling kit on the front of my 14 Silverado and was thinking about putting this on the max setting along with the leveling kit. Anyone done this yet or if that's even possible without changing out the UCA? If it works, I plan on putting a 2 inch block in the rear to level it out. -
Texas speed headers
Tong Lu replied to ChevyTrucks_95's topic in 2014-2019 Engine, Driveline, & Exhaust
If you guys watch any of the MotorTrend videos on Youtube, they recently just did a test on headers and it turns out the size of the tube does absolutely nothing to the HP. Here's a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azPKIjxmmdU. With that being said, what's the difference between Texas Speed and Pacesetters? Pacesetters are 240ish on Amazon for the "painted" ones and Texas Speed is almost 500. -
I was thinking about buying Fox or King coil overs and still use a 2inch spacer in the front. You should try it and let us know how the ride is

Thank you, that's what I was leaning towards. -
Foglights On With High Beams
Tong Lu replied to Spurshot's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Which one is for the lowbeam relay, I don't see it on the chart. I did the mod for my 2008, the relays were just in the engine bay and super easy to get to. -
2014+ Exhaust Systems & Mufflers
Tong Lu replied to Escalade1979's topic in 2014-2019 Engine, Driveline, & Exhaust
I cut everything out after the 3rd "Cat" and replaced it with just pipes. It is slightly quieter than my 2008 Silverado with flowmaster super 40s. Kinda sad but these trucks are quiet. I'm thinking next step is going to cut the 3rd "Cat" out, long tube and highflo cats but it might be too loud, anyone done this yet? I was also thinking just doing the Long Tube Headers and keeping the stock cat, just have to relocate the existing cats to fit the header. I've done a lot of research and it's all over the place on how much HP gain Highflo is compared to the stock Cats.
