  1. Got rid of my 2016 deep ocean blue with a 5.3 for a 2018 Centennial blue 6.2 a couple weeks ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hopefully someone else on here can address your question to what wire to get a constant 12v. It won't happen on my end till spring. It's -8 here today and a foot of snow coming this weekend. My truck doesn't fit in the garage and I won't be crawling underneath anytime soon. Sorry buddy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have the factory bed rail lights and I don't think I would like them wired to that. Think of it this way; you get home, get out of the truck, open the rear topper glass and then figure out you need the light. So now you have to go back in the truck turn the light on get out what you wanted to from the back, go back inside of the truck to turn the lights off. Sounds like no fun. I have the rear glass switch so when I open it it automatically turns them on and then off when I close it. I can also bypass the switch in situations I don't want the light on. Or if I have the glass shut but want the lights on. To me it's the best way to do it. But to each there own. And if you already have a light on the topper you can just get your juice from there. 4. Not a clue. The dealer I got the topper from did the install. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I had some minor defects with my Z series. Both side windows had scratches. Third brake light was installed crooked. And the rear window didn't latch properly. My dealer told me about the windows before they installed. They ordered me replacements and I just came back a couple weeks later and they fixed all my issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. ARE is a lot different now than the older ones. I don't have a picture of the wiring but here is one of the inside Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I Added a little more blue to mine. Got an ARE Z series topper a couple weeks ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Not as big or heavy as what some others tow. But I think it's sometimes harder to tow something you can't see in the mirrors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Neither have ever been my thing either. But.... Flaps do to amp power steps. Keeps them cleaner in these Minnesota winters. And cap. Have a lot of out of town tournaments with kids in hockey and soccer. It will allow the wife to bring everything she thinks we need on them. And it will be nice with all the fishing I do. 10. Got an ARE Z series topper installed today. Keyless entry on the rear glass tilt down slider up front and dual LED rope lights with prop switch. Think I'll like it. I know it will come in handy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Got an A.R.E. Z series topper installed today. Remote unlock on the rear window. Dual LED rope lights inside and tilt in slider so I can wash the back window of truck. It will take awhile to get use to it but I think I'll like it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I can tell you on Tuesday. I'm getting my z series installed Tuesday morning with remote keyless lock, dual LED rope lights with prop switch and drop in slider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The cap is 2135$. 85$ for install and 109$ for dual rope light with prop switch. Then I got them to throw in keyless entry (199$). And tilt down front slider (90$). So with tax I paid just a little less than 2500$. A lot of money, but I really will like having it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Went to a local topper dealer and ordered the ARE Z series cap for my 2016 ccsb. Can't wait till it comes in. They said 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ok. I'll check it when I get home. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
