  1. I believe I had the same update as you on the exhaust. Only thing that helped the buffeting on my vehicle was the new set of Michelin tires.
  2. Good news. Just got off the phone with Gm. They are refunding me the money I paid for the Dampeners. They are also sending the fix performed my vehicle to engineers so they can get a bulletin made for the fix ;) and just a note, I had the new updated exhaust put on a little over a month ago. The new exhaust improved the issue with the drone while the vehicle was in v4, but it had no effect on the booming noises at low speed's going over slight imperfections in the road. The new dampeners that were installed solved the booming noise issues.
  3. Sierra Myst, I just read off the work order they gave me. Just gave the part #s and said 5 dampeners and 4 U-bolts. Duramaxman, Ill take some pics as soon as I get home form work ;) Nice drive to work today without the booming. I actually enjoy driving my Tahoe now ;)
  4. Replaced the factory tires on 20 rims to Michelin Premier Ltx.
  5. Yep cost me $400. Sucks i had to pay it but man what a diffence now ;) 4 ubolts ;)
  6. Since it isn't a written up work order I had to pay it out of my pocket but my dealer said if it solves the issue to contact GM to let them know and I should get a reimbursement.
  7. The Dampeners worked! No more booming over every imperfection in the road. The dealer installed 5 dampeners, part# 10199232 and ubolts part # 733-5337 The vehicle also seems to be idling a lot smoother when I'm stopped at stoplights.
  8. Just got a call today to bring my Tahoe in Monday morning. Will keep you posted ;)
  9. I did the same last month. Dumped the Pos Oem tires and bought Michelin ltx premiers. Big difference! Pricey but worth it.
  10. Still waiting, they should be in tomorrow hopefully. Yeah the new exhaust didnt help the booming.
  11. Still waiting on the parts, but Ill post up the part numbers as soon as I get them ;)
  12. They told me there was no work order with those parts, but knew the parts I was speaking of. Im standing by until the parts come in. If it fixes the issue, then I will definitely request they cover the fees. As soon as I get a work order with the part #s ill post them up for you guys ;)
  13. I just ordered the Dampeners at my dealer. Unfortunately they are going to charge me 89 bucks a pop for these. If it ends up solving the booming noises at slow speeds, I will argue for them to reimburse me. At this point Im desperate, but ill keep you posted one the parts come in.
  14. Although it would be costly, would installing dynamat decrease the booming at low speeds in the cabin? Id be willing to shell out the money if I knew it would work.
  15. Ive noticed since the weather is cooling off, the low speed booming has gotten a lot worse ;( I also notice sometimes when I shift the car into reverse or drive, I can also here that boom noise.
