Spring Clamps Reduce Rear Vibration
Smickie500 replied to hotrodz37's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
Pictures would help me put my U clamps on like you have yours......Only thing I have done so far is torque the axle U bolts ... I am anxiously ready to see if the spring clamps helps me. -
Shake or Vibration Issues
Smickie500 replied to Silver space ship's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
You don't understand how severe it is. Its sounds like your inside a subwoofer and the rhythm is the same frequency as the shake. Has nothing to do with cracking windows and relieving pressure. Cracking window you can hear it and further down the louder it gets..I don't ride around with windows down. I know what normal wind buffeting sounds like and this is not it. -
Shake or Vibration Issues
Smickie500 replied to Silver space ship's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
I get really bad wind buffeting when I roll my back 2 windows down running 75 mph . It will shake the whole truck and is really loud. I think it is still buffeting with the windows up but I just can't hear it. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced that . I have a 2016 Sierra Denali 1500...I also have a bed cover to. -

Go to post # 23 of this thread from ridersfan and download the PDF and print it out and take it to your dealer...I was the first one at my dealer to get the update and they didn't have a DVD...I gave them the doc and they said would get it done...I think they download it from GM -

Intellibeam headlight feature
Smickie500 replied to Aubie_01's topic in 2014 - 2019 Silverado & Sierra
Mine work great on rural roads . I just leave it in auto and it does a great job. In town it sometimes gets confused with all the lights or it may brightlight a car pulling out from a side road. The auto feature is easily turned on or off.. -
My last truck 2014 6.2 I was running mid grade fuel in it without any problem and good mileage...I just got a new my 2016 and I am going to run premium fuel for a few thousand miles and then switch back to mid grade...works for me
