  1. Also, as far as the mirror reverse tilt and the other options in the personalization, mine did end up with that. But I can't be certain if the dealer did a BCM flash or not. I need to get with them and see. My guess would be that yes they did.
  2. Hey guys, sorry i'm out of town on Vacation without my truck right now.. so I can't get my invoice from when I had the dealer install them. first off though, Yes you need to get the harnesses. We (the dealer shop foreman and I) tried using the standard harnesses just to see while we were putting them in and the mirrors did not work right. Features were missing. Second, as far as dealer or not, it just depends on if you want to mess with installing them yourself. I had the dealer install while they were putting all my other accessories on for me. They ordered them for me as well. Part Numbers were as follows. (i found these earlier in the forum, and when I ordered at the dealer we confirmed that's what hardware it was) 23241465 23241469 23171564 23171567
  3. Minutes to my knowledge. start to finish on my mirror install was less than 2 hours.
  4. That's probably your issue then.. If they didn't change the harnesses some of the features won't work on the trailer mirrors.
  5. I wouldn't think any additional hardware is required... unless they didn't actually change the harness out in the doors. Do your backup Lights and the orange clearance light work properly?
  6. Hey. Ya unfortunetly the powered trailer mirrors are only available on the Max Trailering package...which is only available on the 1LZ (non Z71) Found that out when I ordered mine in January. When I got mine I had the trailer mirrors put on, based on the part numbers in this thread. I just checked my convieneice settings and the setting is indeed there for the Reverse Tilt Mirror and Auto Mirror Settings. I am guessing they didn't do the BCM Updates... Does your memory function work for your driver 1/2 recall?
  7. I just had the tow mirrors installed on my 2016 LTZ Z71 1500. the Part numbers above are correct. I had my dealer in stall and i'm pretty sure they had no programming to do and everything works. Make sure to get the harnesses as well! I had the DL3 Power folding mirrors before.
  8. Hey thanks for the response! it's good that there is a way to get the power folding ones. Do you happen to know what part numbers those might be? (hopefully they aren't different for the 2016s) Also, if I do go that route will everything on the mirrors work properly or are there any recodes that have to happen? Fortunately, I know one of the shop managers at the dealer So i'm going to talk to him about it too and see if they will be willing to get the mirrors and have them installed before I pick up the truck.
  9. Hello all, I just spent an hour at my local dealership submitting a custom order for a 2016 LTZ Z71 1500 crew cab One specific item I wanted was the trailer mirrors. On the Chevy website builder, it allowed me to select the chrome trailer mirrors. When they were submitting the order in their system it wouldn't allow them to choose those mirrors. So I had them place the order as is with the plan to buy the accessory for the trailer mirrors. According to the GM accessories website, the part number is 23372181. Can anyone confirm if these mirrors are power folding or not? If they aren't, they won't work for me. Being a LTZ, the stock mirrors are power folding.
