  1. I hope to get 50 to 60 thousand miles out of them, most of my driving is hwy and all thru town....I build swimming pools for a living so I'm on the road alot
  2. No I think you will be good just make sure you get a rim with enough back spacing to clear that lift knuckle....I could clear 37's on mine easy with it set at 8 so I really don't think u will have an issue at all...35's are borderline almost too small with this lift in my opinion, but I hear when u go to a 37 you need to make more upgrades as far as gearing, control arms, etc. To keep them from wearing out everything too fast
  3. Holding up well, I'm very analysis about rotations every 5000 miles, so tire wear has been very minimal, I would love to see yours with 37's tho....as soon as I need a new set big orange with be sitting on 37's and re geared

  5. It's just the look I was going for really, didn't wanna cut or remove the front valence because to me, Noone get offended this is just my opinion, I think trucks with the front valence removed just looks a little unfinished, not a fan of all the bolt holes showing....also not a fan of the front sitting lower than the rear and set at 8" in the front with the factory 1 inch block and the 6 inch block that comes with the kit on the back the truck sits roughly a qaurter to a half inch higher in the front, it's a very aggressive look in my opinion, to each his own but the way mine is sitting is exactly what I was going for, as far as the rims you can look back at my pics but mine are 22x10 -24 offset so I'm pretty sure your will be a similar look to mine
  6. Yep! The only thing I regret was not going with 37's, not ready to get into changing the gears and all yet but I do think this lift would look alot better with 37's vs 35's, but as far as quality it's top notch no issues
  7. I have over 10,000 miles on it now and no issues what so ever, so far so good....everyone that rides in it can't get over how good it rides being lifted, I'd go with this same lift if I could do it all over again
  8. Here u go man....I was looking for the tall skinny look and I think it turned out good with the -24 offset that mcgaughys required but no the lift is on and seeing the distance between the knuckle and inside of rim I think I would have been good with a 0 offset, with the -24 offset I have a good 2 inches between the inside of the rim and the mcgaughys knuckle....
  9. Thanks man! I like it and so far I'm really happy with the lift....most people around here have never heard of them and alot of guys are running the rough country stuff here....so they rude in mine and go "damn, you can't even tell it's lifted" from what I've seen bds is a decent lift but alot of the other stuff is noisy for one which bugs the shit out of me and not machined well...even the guys at the shop that installs lifts that installed my tires and rims say it's one of the nicest, sturdiest lifts they've seen so....
  10. Read the post above^....that is what I also was told and I thought that as well but when the install was done I noticed it immediately. Some trucks are diffrent but on mine, 8 inch front and both blocks in the rear = 1 inch lower in the rear and honestly that's the best look to me....man make sure u post pics of yours and I would like to know how yours rides set at 9" too please....when I wear out these 35 1250 I may possibly set mine at 9 and add a leaf with 37's! If my wife doesn't kill me first, the more I look at it I think the way it sits now might have looked a little better with 37's but....jjust spent a chunk on these so I'll get all the good out of these before I move up to a 37
  11. No just the 6 inch block that comes with the kit on top of the factory 1 inch block. Left it out originally, drove it 2 days and put it back in. It was a little over 2 inches lower in the back and that was just too much for me, to me the front set at 8 with both blocks is the best look, if I ever go to 9 I will definitely do the add a leaf, right now the front is exactly 1 inch higher, I like a little stance but without that factory block in there it looked like it had a load all the time lol
  12. Well just wanted to share some info on this lift because when I was researching it couldn't find a ton of info. Honestly the lift is great, directions suck but if your the least bit mechanical inclined it's east to figure out. The ride quality is alot better than what I expected, it's really like your floating with this lift, dampens alot of the imperfections in the road that I felt before installing the lift. I did the SS kit with the adjutable struts set at 8 inches, turned out really good. You wouldn't think 2 inches would make much of a diffrence but my buddy's 6 inch lift is no where near as close, running the same tire and rim set up I'm sitting at 48 in the front and 47 in the rear, where his 6 inch bds lift is 45.25 in the front and 44 in the rear....and it is very noticeable side by side. He'll be swapping lifts before too long lol. Biggest concern I've had is his BDS is a little noisy when turning sitting still and the least little bit of strain on his steering and you hear a faint pop, not terrible but I notice it and on a 50,000.00 truck I don't wanna hear no shit like that. This mcgaughys lift so far is very quiet. No noises what so ever. Very quiet and solid. Only 3 weeks and 2500 miles into having it on my truck but so far I'm glad I spent the extra money and got a quality lift, very satisfied and if I ever trade up trucks this will be the lift on my next one as well. Hope this helps someone as decisive as me make a decision lol. My truck has the adjustable set on the middle notch at 8 inches, has the 6 inch block that came with the kit and the factory 1 inch block in the rear, 22x10 -24 offset xd rims with 35x12.5 cooper stt pro, that burnt orange makes it one of a kind in my opinion. Very fun to drive! That's my 2 cent on this lift
  13. Question....I'm gonna pull the trigger on this lift more than likely....mcgaughys is telling me the track width will only be widened by 5/8 of an inch per side with this lift? Can the guys with the lift chime in please? I'm just not a big fan of the front tires sticking out 1.5 to 2 inch more than the back....seen some pics where you couldn't tell a diffrence and some that looked like the front tires were spaced out quite a bit but the angle of a pic can be deceiving, to the guys with the kot....is the track width increase on the front that noticeably diffrent from the rear tires with this lift set at 8"??? Please help as I'm ready to get this thing coming along
  14. Did you have to run spacers on the front to keep the stock wheels? And how noticeable is the wider track width in the front compared to the back? I wanna do a 6 inch super lift on mine but I wanna keep the stock 20's and I'm worried the tires sticking out more in the front is going to stand out bad....help me out man lol I'm torn
